Big Air Pillow delivers lightweight packability and soft comfort for camp nights
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I used to stuff a jacket under my head, but this pillow is a game changer. It packs down tiny, inflates in seconds, and the brushed fabric is soft and quiet against the skin. At just 7 ounces, I don’t think twice about tossing it in my pack."
After a long day on the trail, a good night’s sleep can make all the difference, and the Big Air Pillow helps us rest easy. This camp-ready pillow inflates quickly with a flat valve and deflates just as fast, making setup simple and stress-free.
Its soft, brushed fabric feels comfortable against the skin and stays quiet as we shift through the night, while the lightweight design packs down small enough to disappear in our pack. At just 7 ounces, it’s the kind of comfort upgrade we never regret bringing along—whether it’s for backcountry camping, road trips, or a long flight.

ONLY Buy with an ALPS Sleeping Pad!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Weight:
- 185
This is a pretty solid camping pillow; it packs down very small and is quite large. However, it is a little thinner than I was expecting, and you NEED an Alps Mountaineering bag pump to fill this up - so, don't buy this product as a standalone, as you will not be able to inflate it easily. It also tends to slide around the pad, which is a little annoying. But I didn't get any neck pain over my 4-night trip. I would recommend adding this on to another Alps sleeping pad.
