Here's what customers have to say
The product offers good comfort, grip, and breathability, with a flexible design suitable for various water activities. Good River Shoe
Lighter than my older Loyak's. The mesh dries easily. They have good grip for the paddle board.

Great, but not as great as the M
Really good shoe. If I didn’t have a Loyak M, I might read it even higher. I don’t like the fit quite as much and it looks more like a water shoe. Part of what I love about the Loyak M is that it is an awesome water shoe, but looks pretty much like a regular shoe.

Stopped wearing them.
Love everything about this shoe except the quality control on the inside seam. The left foot is fine, but the right foot seam where it goes over my pinky toe is unfinished and sharp. Gives me a blister. So I have stopped wearing them.

Great for Lake Rocks too
I was looking for a water shoe to use at the lake so that I wouldn’t kill my feet walking over the rocks out to the boat or playing with the kids. The Lokak AC worked great, had great grip on the boat, the drains in the shoe work well and to top it off the shoes looks great. I got a bunch on compliments.

Prefer the classic Loyak
I live in my classic Loyaks but the Loyak AC, as others have mentioned, have uncomfortable seams over my big toe that scratch and irritate my foot. They're fine to wear if I never bend my foot but become quickly unbearable if I'm moving a lot. The mesh fabric is a bit stiff - a huge contrast to the classic Loyak which is soft and flexible. If Astral can fix the seam issue, this would be an excellent shoe.

Astral products are tops!
Can’t say enough positive things about Astral products. Great shoes in or out of the water. I’ve worn these shoe for over a year and they still look new. Light weight, wide toe box, and super comfortable. The Astral PFF sandle’s are awesome as well!

Need to be sized properly
Runs way small, and created heal blisters in a matter of hours. If sized properly I think they would be great shoes

Best water shoes I've ever had
I was wary about transitioning from sandals to these because my toes love to be free. But, the wide toe box gives them room to curl and stretch as I paddle through gnarly rapids. The grip is also kudos worthy. I was putting in my kayak down a steep embankment with slippery stone steps recently, lost control of it, and I had to run after it before the current caught it. Maybe not my finest moment, but these bad boys gripped the stone and I was able to catch my little escapee just in time. You won't see me in anything but these when I'm out on the water.

Rough seams
I paddled a canoe for 230 miles in these shoes. There may not be the perfect shoe for eduarance canoe racing, but inside the loyak is a very rough seam near the small toe that gave me blisters on each foot. The darker color (navy) also held a lot of heat from the sun.

A cooler, snugger Loyak
Runs slightly smaller than the Loyaks in the toe box
