Not so good for a lower volume foot

I love the footbed, the just-right cushioning, the secure grippy feel of it. However, the toe thong is weirdly tall. While I have low volume feet, I have never had a flip flop as wildly spacious as this one. The upper straps stand so tall off my foot that I cannot use them as flip flops - they flop around too much, I can’t hold them on my feet! I’m keeping them because with the extra (optional) heel straps they feel more secure and workable though I would love it if this style could be tweaked so that I could use them as easy slip on flip flops!

These water shoes are a good go-to camp shoe. They are a bit too loose to actually wear in the water or hiking. The fit is pretty accurate. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly.

Sizing is BIG

I was super excited for these. Unfortunately the sizing is very big. I’m a 6. These were way too big and the straps had too much space over the top of my foot. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a smaller size. Just make sure they fit and I think they’ll be great.

I purchased my correct size, length was good. But there was too much room under the straps. These shoes are for athletic people moving around on uneven terrain, wet terrain. I wouldn't last 5 minutes without injuring my foot. Super bummed because I love the design concept.

Rosa in Water Blue

I love my Rosa sandals. Usually I am wearing them without the straps but I do like that I have the option. I snagged the Water Blue on sale and so glad I did. I wear a 9-9.5 and the size 9 is perfect. I love the fresh color. Thanks Astral for another great pair of shoes in my wardrobe!

LOVE 'EM!

Rosas are definitely the best flip flop I've ever owned. Very comfortable and grippy. The super strap is a must, I never take it off -- super useful in tricky situations and adds a little flare when not in use.

Versatile & comfortable

The strap is versatile, you can wear it as a flip, or move the strap around your heal when the trail gets serious, for a more secure fit. The foot bed is so comfortable, and the sandal is light. Fits true to size.

Great!

So I've had these sandals for almost 5 years now (yes, same original pr)!!! They've been great and are still going strong, one back strap is beginning to see a little wear & won't stay super tight but still works great. I absolutely hate the weight and feel of Chacos, but was needing something in that category to wear on a trip to Disney. Wanted to be comfortable, knowing my feet would be getting wet whether it was on a ride or rain, and didn't want to slop around in wet tennis shoes. Went to my local river outfitters (we live in between 2 whitewater rivers) and confessed to the owner while standing under the huge Chaco sign that I hate them. He winked & said, personally I do too,lol, let me show you what I wear instead. And he talked me in to a pr of Astral Rosa's. Since then I've talked several friends in to them! Was a great deal for me because after the trip to Disney I was still able to wear them on the river, camping or just quick trips to town because they're so cute AND comfortable. I've even taken them to the beach with me!
