Magical Disappearing Fleece

If what you are looking for is a layer that will mark your trail through the wilderness, so you can find your way home - this is the layer for you. Straight out of the bag it felt soft and full of promise. That promise fell short, and fell all over covering my underlayers, pants, jacket, seats, and everything else it came into contact with, with yellow fleece balls. After a single backpack trip, it looked like it had survived a mild bear attack with a hole worn into it, more yellow balls scattered, and the sewn waist seam giving out. This is great, if what you are looking for is a lightweight fleece layer that gets lighter as you travel, and leaves a trail back to camp. It is terrible if what you want is an insulated layer that will continue to insulate you.

Great light insulation layer

This hoodie is crazy light and super soft—perfect for tossing in your pack for hikes, ski tours, or just chilling around camp. I love how breathable it is, so I never overheat, and the whole thing stuffs down into its own pocket, which is super handy when you’re on the go. The recycled fleece feels great against the skin, but heads up: it’s not the most durable layer and can shed fuzz if you’re rough with it. Overall, it’s an awesome cozy midlayer for active days outside, as long as you don’t expect it to block wind or take a beating.

I received this product as part of the Backcountry creator program. This was a great item to bring on our camping trip where it was cool at night but breezy on the waters. Love that it packs down so small to bring on hikes and future backpacking trips.

This is a fantastic mid layer for just about any activity. It has great thermal properties while being extremely breathable during periods of high exertion. It packs into itself smaller than a nalgene so it is a no brainer to bring on any ski tour, multi-pitch, or shoulder season trail run. Fantastic product!

Super versatile layer

I'll leave a slightly.... different review than the rest. I'm not taking this great hoodie up mountains to get a late-spring ski run in, or going on any epic journeys, I simply needed a lightweight hoodie for... everything. This material is awesome, it's light, airy, but provides a decent amount of warmth. Frankly, it's just cozy. That being said, it is a little sensitive. So cat owners, keep 'em away from this. To prove I really do use this for everything, see my picture of me reeling in an absolute tugboat of a carp. As I was pulling this ferry up from the bank, I nearly fell in getting my hoodie wet. It was dry before I even released this donkey back into his creek. Great, interesting layer that's good enough for mountain climbing, alpine missions, and reeling in river monsters alike.

I get so many compliments about this hoody. Everyone loves it and so do I. It’s light extremely package ave gray for a tv session on the couch or to throw on after a bike ride. I mostly use it as a comfort piece but I could easily see this as a belayer in the winter. Lots of versatility! I’ll be buying these as Christmas gifts next year.

Really great layer as long as you're not doing anything too rough with it. I've had mine for a couple of months now and unfortunately have a hole in the back somehow after using mostly as a mid layer under jackets during ski season. Super bummed that they aren't more durable, really liked the layer. Just need to be careful with these.

It's like wearing baby seals

So SOFT, so warm, so light. It doesn't do anything in the wind, but I don't think it was meant to. Incredibly comfortable. The material seems fragile, but have had no problems so far.

This fits me great and is unbelievably soft. I wear it above a base layer and it really adds some warmth underneath a jacket as well
