Patrollers Little Helper

I volunteer as both an Alpine and Nordic Ski Patroller. This tool is always in my pack. Compact, but well designed. The in-handle storage provides plenty of room for all the bits you'll need. Another great feature, is that if you lose a bit, this tool uses the standard replacements - unlike too many multi-tools (leatherman) that only accommodate their bits. Cheap insurance.

A must for any skier or snowboarder on the mountain. Easily fits in your pocket if you don't use a backpack.

Great tool!

I've had one of these and used it for years. Then one day the little ball-bearing that holds the bits in place went sproinging across the room somewhere never to be found! I found it too annoying to use when the bits dropped out all the time, so I purchased another. I think this was a weird and unusual failure, and I find the tool otherwise well designed.

Good first impression

Did not use the tool extensively, but it seems like a good tool to Cary and use once in a while

Cheap design same as all the other ones. Plastic cap never stays on and end up loosing bits. I do like the little switch that changed the direction of ratchet.

Got Rusty Fast

The tool does the job and has useful bits. Unfortunately I dropped it in the snow and left some moisture in it. The whole inside, including the bits were covered in rust.

A bit heavy but good tools! Would be better if lighter, not going to take it on a bigger trip where weight matters

So far so good

Looks like has all the right bits to work on my touring set, also seems to have high quality ratchet. We’ll see overtime.
