Love them!
I got them for lead belaying and love them! I was going to get leather gardening gloves as was recommended but I find them to be too hot. These have great grip and breathability, I have eczema so having my hands not get too sweaty is important!

Great value; high quality
Bought 4 pairs for our family to use for Via Ferrata in Norway. Through rain, snow, wind and sun, these kept our paws on track climbing Trolltunga. Especially lived the little soft patch over the thumb for wiping a wet nose while climbing in the wet weather. The designers thought of everything!

Crag glove life
Work at a challenge course and these helped save my hands when we had a snow program.

Great price but could be improved
These are great, lightweight gloves that I use for rope handling. They are good bang for the buck, but there are three things I would like to see improved. First, they are small for their size. I measured my hands according to the sizing chart and chose the recommended size, but they are still too tight and slightly uncomfortable, even after broken in. To boot, they are the largest size available, so if you usually buy extra large gloves, these will be small for you; more like large. Second, the grommets that we use to hook them onto carabiners to hang them on our harnesses are awkwardly unavailable when the cuff strap is closed with the provided hook and loop strip. You have to pull them open and its needlessly difficult to get them onto a carabiner. The grommet should be on a tab that is always available, even when the hook and loop is closed. Thirdly, I have had several pairs of these gloves and they wear out quickly if you use them frquently, such as we do in Mountain Rescue. The cloth on the finger tips wears through and the stitching on the seams on the finger tips comes out. That said, they are inexpensive enough to consider them nearly disposable.

Great inexpensive belay glove
I find that I can get a better grip with more friction using this glove over a leather glove. I have a medium size hand but buy this in a large for ease of putting on and removing. I have been through a lot of belay gloves and this is my favorite.

The fingers and thumbs on
The fingers and thumbs on these are a bit too long. Otherwise, they're pretty comfortable for the price. I haven't used them long enough to comment on the durability.

Strong, comfortable, but not ideal fit
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- L
Seem durable, and I'm happy with it as general-purpose easy mountaineering gloves. For climbing, the fit is off for me. Fingers are 0.5-1 cm too long, no bueno for working with carabiners. Strangely enough, this only affect thumb, index and middle finger - ring and pinky finger fit perfectly. My palm is 9 cm wide, 21 cm circumference, index finger 8.5 cm, middle 9 cm, gloves size is L.

Black Diamond Crag Gloves
So far these gloves have been great for basic use. They are durable and protective. The large wrist wrap holds them on well. I believe they will last. The sizing is accurate. I would buy another pair in the future.

Comfortable but show use quickly
Seams of gloves have blown within the first few days of use multiple times, but good price and relatively comfortable

Good gloves, one issue
Glove fit well following the recommended size chart. Definitely good quality and seems durable, but still thin enough for good dexterity. Only issue I have is with overall comfort with these gloves, they have pretty rigid seams which protrude from the inside of the glove. Really not very comfortable with seams running in between every finger. Hopefully they will soften with use, will keep and still use!
