Way too expensive, very hard to install
Putting these stupid $40 pieces of metal on your crampons is probably more dangerous and entails significantly more objective hazards that whatever mountaineering objective aiming for. Good luck not stabbing yourself in the process. Impressively poor design.

Fits perfectly of women's boots
Very durable, this toe bail fits perfectly on women boots. I use it on Dart crampons. I also often carry an extra one in case one breaks.

Needed for ski boot compatibility
Solved the compatibility problem with Atomic Backland Carbon ski boots. Bummed its so expensive to get 2 pieces of wire.

The perfect size for my ski boots + works with other brands' crampons
I have a pair of aluminum BD crampons and Petzl steel crampons - these work with both and allow me to use those crampons with my ski boots in addition to the ice boots

Must for ski boots
This is a must for ski boots with a toe bail. It makes a huge difference having the crampons securely locked on the boot when ski mountaineering or climbing steep snow or ice.

Great Ski Boot Fit
Note about the product details: it says sold as a single toe bail so I ordered two and ended up with four toe bails. So a quantity of one gives you a pair and not a single toe bail as stated. These fit my ski boots well.

Make sure you order two
Needed top order this to fit my ski boot into my crampons. Size 28.5 technica zero g. Only ordered one. Had to order again to match. Work fine. Tough to get on and off.
