Very well designed and constructed
Very well designed and constructed pant. I believe it will hold up better than three of the "welded" Arcteryx garments I owned which literally fell apart. I haven't needed to send any of my Black Diamond products in for warranty work, but I assume they will stand behind their products better than Arcteryx, who sent a 20% off coupon and didn't want to repair their product. I've been hunting, fishing, backpacking, snow skiing, and been doing stupid stuff outdoors for over fifty years. L E Wee DMD

Great pants
Fit is comfortable 5’8”, 205 athletic build in a size large. Prefer a baggy fit and these fit the bill. Burley ski touring pants that have ample vents, great stretch for dropping knees, and a perfect beacon pocket.

Great Pants
I have 2 pairs of these. Excellent, Gore-Tex level waterproofing and very rugged. Wear sweats under them when its super cold.

rode up too high in hips for me
i like pants that sit lower on hips. maybe some ppl like it higher for more weather coverage but i think its an odd fitting pant when they are that high up. too much material from crotch to top of pants. i am 6'2" 195 athletic build and the large was too dumpy for me but i didnt like how the mediums grabbed my thighs when i crouched down. i went with hybrid dawn patrol bc i needed a lightweight shell. i liked those better than the LT recon pants. u can read my review there.

Great look and feel. Bad stitching
Rode with these for two days and on the third day, noticed some of the stitching on the left pocket had come undone, so there is a hole after closing the zipper. Will be looking for a refund.

Great pants. . . please make them in long.
If you're looking for full featured comfortable ski pants, these are it. The fit is great for layering and the stretch is an added bonus. If only they came in a long length they would be perfect.

Great product
I bought a size small. I am 5'10 with 31-32 inch waist, 160 lbs. The waist was a little tight , but plenty of room around the thighs and throughout the leg. Length was great. Very light feel to them with good ventilation.
