They are Lifesavers
My wife bought these for me while we were hiking Kings Sequoia Park in California. No joke, if I hadn't had them I probably would've fallen three different times and nearly killed myself. They are sensational Poles.

Just right
I got these to replace my first pair of black diamond poles that are almost 15 years old. They still work great except the rubber grips are deteriorating. I love the cork handles and the grip extension for steep hills. The flick lock is still a great mechanism. I look forward to many years and many miles with these.

Very easy to use
These trekking poles are great. They are lighter than my correct aluminum poles, and give much better “peace of mind” than carbon fibers for me. I use a trekking pole tent and an aluminum pole can at worse bend. A carbon fiber pole can shatter which would leave me in a bad spot. I like these flick locks a lot because it makes pitching my tent much easier. I used to have to extend my pole while holding up the weight of my tent and try to twist-lock the pole. Now I can just extend the pole and flip a lock. I live right on Lake Michigan and most of my local hiking is through sand dunes. The small baskets work well and don’t puncture really deep into the sand. I do NOT regret buying these.

Great poles, no complaints.
These poles work great for dry ground, mud, and snow. They feel solid and don’t slip. The cork grip is comfortable and they are easy to adjust.
