Balaclava for BIG heads
This is a well constructed balaclava. Most importantly, it fits my BIG head! I will use it for my winter bicycle rides. I would purchase again and will recommend to friends.

Best hood out there!
My favorite face mask they offer! I own multiple Sock hoods and recommend them to my friends. Fits a little more loose in on the face which I like but just as warm!

This is my Favorite Mask.
Blackstrap is the bomb. I’ve been using their stuff for years. I’ve been teaching and coaching for the past 8 years which means I ride all day everyday for 6 months out of the year. The Sock Hood is my favorite Blackstrap piece and hand down my favorite mask ever. It’s light and loose and feels great. Keeps the sun off my neck and face. Super comfortable under a helmet and fits great with goggles. Also a huge plus is that it goes great with the mask I have to wear for Covid. It no fun talking through two masks, and they pair well. It’s works on hot days when the sun is beating down and works on a storm day. I’ll definitely buy another one.

Love this hood
Of all the Blackstrap hoods I own, this one is my favorite. Comfortable to wear up over your nose all day - whether skiing/riding up at the mountain, shoveling the driveway, or robbing the local liquor store.

Not great, but by no means is it bad..
I bought this balaclava as an alternative to The Hood Balaclava so I wouldn't have to bother with the face hinge and it being bunched up around my neck. The dual layering makes the hood a little too warm for me unless the temperature is below 10(F) and the face opening is a little small so its tight around my neck if its below my chin. This product with a slightly longer face hole and single layering would make this a 6-star review. Overall, I got nothing against this product, its a good balaclava and will keep your head plenty warm in near any temperature below freezing. The Hood Balaclava will still be my go-to for any day on the hill, but this will be a great back up for the really cold days or if I forget my go-to.
