Too rigid

The material on these shoes is too rigid. In addition to making them hot and uncomfortable, it contributes to them becoming untied frequently.

The new model is awful

Ghastly! Not only cheap as a shoe, but the switch to (faux) leather REVERSED the breathability to awful. The insole could probably not be cheaper...

Great Walking Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the Only athletic shoes my husband will wear. He needs cushioning and a very wide fit. The Addiction Walker 2 fits the bill. Great shoe for the money! He wears them Every day!

I wanted to mention that this is a "walking" shoe and not designed for running, The email asking me to review the item referenced "running". The shoe is fine. It is light. It looks like an "old mans" shoe. it would be nice if a walking shoe could be made to look more like a running shoe.

Brooks walking shoes

I bought these shoes online based on the size of my previous shoes--Kiziks. I need more padding for my 83 year old feet following a sciatic nerve issue with my left leg and foot. I researched on line, including video reviews and picked Brooks. The size is a bit snug and I am considering buying the next size larger--maybe. I had to file down my fungus infected big toenails and yesterday I wore them to go to the pro-democracy rally in downtown Portland and everything was very comfortable. I do not like the waffle soles because when I wear the shoes into my back yard where the neighbor's pear tree drops tons of pears onto my raised beds and yard. If I happen to step on a fallen pear the fruit gets embedded in all the cracks and crevices of the soul and takes a bunch of effort to clean. So, I have to change shoes to go into our beautiful garden!

Not what I was expecting. These still made my feet sore (I have flat feet), and by the description I thought they would be more supportive than they actually are.

The shoe was too hard. Not enough cushion. All-plastic body did not allow for feet to breathe.

Perfect for my husband!

These are the only walking shoes my husband ever wears. Because his feet are so wide he has a hard time finding quality walking shoes. Then he found these and his search is over!

I asm currently wearing the same item. But these new shoes SQUEEK so badly. I do not know why.

These shoes squeak very badly. I am currently wearing the same shoe but there was not a squeaky problem when I bought them. WHY ? Very disappointing as I do not want to go buy another shoe. I also have a Black pair of Brooks.
