Toe box in wide fit too narrow for wide feet

I really wanted to love these but it didn’t work out. My feet: I’m an overpronator with naturally wide feet. (Not fat and wide, just wide.) I bought these for walking 3-5 miles a day. In the past, I’d worn Adrenalines (back in 2010s) but I always hated how firm they felt even though they were good for my feet through plantar fasciitis, a stress fracture in my foot, and later, recovering from foot drop. Since I’ve been walking more, I decided to return to Brooks but wanted to try out something less firm than what I remembered from the Adrenalines. Glycerin GTS seemed like a good choice. I ordered these in my usual Brooks size (7) in wide with my normal Superfeet inserts. The shoe was a little shorter than I remembered, almost too small but a size up would have likely been too big. I wore them for a couple of weeks and got a stress fracture in my left foot. I figured it was simply due to walking more, so I’ve taken a break from walking for the last week and just focused on healing with a boot around the house. I work from home and have been focusing on not going out much just to speed up healing, but this weekend I went out to run errands. I used my Birkenstocks for my first outing and my foot was actually ok enough walking carefully. The next outing, I put on my Glycerins and as soon as my foot slipped in, it hurt so bad. I realized the tight toe box was probably what added pressure to my metarsals, which contributed to my stress fracture. I’m returning these and ordering Adrenaline GTS in wide, and hope the toe box is better! I hope this review is helpful for anyone else with wide feet!

Boxy like a child's shoe; runs small

I loved the 22 model and expected the same with 24. I read the reviews and should have listened. The 24s feel and appear to be shorter. The right shoe is rubbing against my 1st and 2nd metatarsals. They look boxy like a toddler shoe. I missed the window of return so I am stuck. Why did Brooks change an already nice product?

Not as firm as I would like

I have been running in Adrenaline GTS for a couple years now and they have worked really well for me. However, the Adrenaline GTS 24 felt more cushiony and I did not like the lack of "spring" while running. So I returned them and got an older model and I hope Brooks will go back to a firmer model. However, the color was beautiful (pink and white). Brooks let me return them even after running in them which was really helpful because it gave me the chance to see how they felt while running really easily.

Love them so much I no longer wear a different company's shoe. Stable but still has cush.

I just started wearing adrenaline with GTA 23 and 24. I love them so much they are now my go to shoe for running and work (on my feet 13 hours)!

Great shoes

Very comfortable. I use these shoes on my treadmill. I ordered a half size larger. I had read in the comments to do so, and I am glad I did. Great shoes so far.

Not what it used to be that's for sure

i have been running on the adrenaline for 25 years +. I recently got thi my new shoes and am very disappointed in it. Something has changed. It's mushy, it's 'tall', it doesn't have the arch support i'm used to. It is not the same shoe in my opinion. In short, while i was looking forward to my run today in my 'new' shoes, i was majorly disappointed in how it felt. i can only guess the product has been 'cheapified'... or modified. bummer. now i have to find a replacement.

I’ve worn Adrenaline’s for years and have loved them! I need a larger toe box, it’s difficult for me to find a comfortable running shoe, so when I found Adrenaline GTS I was so happy. The new design has a smaller, more narrow toe box, they hurt my feet. I am so very disappointed in the new design. I had to return them.

Overall, ok; however, there is the addition of an elastic loop to hold laces, which was too tight for me, so I just took the laces out of the loop.
