Cascadia 19 delivers versatile trail performance with adaptive support and rugged grip
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I’ve tested the Cascadia 19 across mud, scree, and root-covered trails, and it just handles everything. The midsole is cushioned but not soft, and the grip gives me confidence bombing descents or grinding uphill switchbacks. It’s a legit go-anywhere trail shoe."
We don’t run the same trail twice, so we run in the Brooks Cascadia 19. Built as a true all-terrain multitool, this trail shoe adapts to changing surfaces and unpredictable weather with confidence-inspiring traction, reliable protection, and a balanced, stable ride. Whether we’re navigating mud, wet rock, or packed dirt, the Cascadia's updated TrailTack rubber outsole bites into the ground to keep us grounded.
Its 6mm drop and neutral support provide a natural yet protected feel underfoot, while the rock plate and mudguard shield against sharp debris and trail spray. The breathable upper is reinforced to last through scrambles and season after season of long miles, and it feels light enough for daily trail training but tough enough for ultra distances. Whether we’re linking ridgelines or tackling wet, rooted switchbacks, the Cascadia 19 is ready to move with us.

Mind the Gap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The achilles heal of a good shoe. The gap in the tread in the middle of heal has proved to be the favorite spot for nefarious rocks to poke and prode my heal into jankiness. CLOSE THE GAP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toe box too narrow
Loved my Cascadia 18's so bought a pair of 19's thinking they'd be the same...nope! Brooks narrowed the toe box and I could tell instantly my feet were not going to like the tightness. Packed up and returned, hope they go back to a wider toe box for the 20's or I'll have to find another shoe. Bought a replacement pair of 18's before they disappeared.

Goodbye Cascadia
For the past decade, I’ve relied on the Cascadia for its consistent fit and dependable performance. Sadly, Brooks has shifted gears—opting to chase the Speedgoat crowd rather than stay true to the proven formula that earned so many loyal followers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these out on a backpacking hike as soon as I received them, and let me tell you, they are absolutely fantastic. The fit is perfect. The grip on the trail was awesome. Very comfortable and felt secure with every step. Happy with my selection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this shoe very comfortable with no break-in period needed. Thoroughly love this shoe! I walked in a snowstorm and my socks stayed relatively dry so I was happy. Long-time Brooks shoe wearer (Adrenaline & Levitate). My personal opinion is certain shoe brands fit your foot well or they don't so keep that in mind when trying different brands. I have never had a problem with any Brooks shoe. But for example, Nike does not personally fit my feet as well as any Brooks shoe. But that's me and you might be happier with a certain brand so use that as your guide rather than forcing yourself into a shoe because of what your mates are wearing. I wish the Cascadia 19 came in better colors. I ultimately chose boring black because I didn't like the other current colors offered. Hope Brooks keeps this in mind in the next version. Would like an option in brown or green (since Cascadia is a trail shoe).

A runners shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a newbie trail running, doing my first 10K with these shoes, definitely very supportive and help me focus on my run. The trail was on the coast, with a lot of ups and downs, foresty trail and maze like areas then some beach plus some actual road, and in all cases the shoes did well. Definitely recommend this brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought these for my husband, our foot doctor recommended we buy Brooks, over 2 other well know brands . The wide toe space is what he was looks ing for. He really likes them..

Great outdoor shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8th or 9th pair! I purchased my first Cascadias when they were rated the #1 shoe for hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2018. I then discovered they worked well as golf shoes. Traction is excellent and comfort is far better than most golf shoes. I walk 18 or more holes almost daily from May to November without a blister or sore spot. I see them a lot on caddies and they clean up easier than regular golf shoes. Color choices are also a plus over Foot Joys, Nikes or Adidas.
