[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just began to run again, and I can say these shoes “step” up to the plate. my expectations were low, I could not wear these to walk in during my 12 hour shifts at work on my feet all night, but they are so different to run in! I do have toe pain, which occurs in every shoe I wear, so it didn’t eliminate that problem, but I did not notice any new issues while wearing these. I also love the color variety!

If you like a stiff shoe these are for you

My last pair were Ghost15. I had to go up a half size as toe box feels smaller and very stiff. Overall this version is very stiff and irritated my lower heels during my first walk. Waiting to see if they will soften with wear

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ghost 17 were a disappointment for me... I have been wearing Ghost for years. The sizing of this was off. They changed the width of these in the toe box area. Now too narrow. I tried 2 different shoes and both had the same issue. I don't get blisters and I get them every time I wear these. I cant wear them at all for my longer run or my feet are in pain and big blisters on the inside ball of my feet. very disappointed that the sizing is off on something that shouldn't change with each version of the ghost. Sad I had to find a Ghost 16 to get me through my long miles again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Brooks! I am glad I made the switch from Glycerin 21 to Ghost 17! More supportive and a firmer get up and go feel! I would strongly recommend the Ghost 17 as I plan on ordering a back up pair for race days !!

Perfect for longer runs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Brooks Ghost 17 in pink! 💖 They’re incredibly comfortable right out of the box — soft cushioning, great support, and super smooth for both long runs and everyday wear. The fit feels secure without being tight, and the breathable upper keeps my feet cool even on longer runs. The color is gorgeous too — the pink adds such a fun, vibrant touch without being too flashy.

These have been a disappointment. I got blisters on the insides of my heels and all my previous ghost models have been great. I can’t wear these.

Meh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really trying to like this shoe. I’ve had multiple ghost versions all the way back from the 10. This one I feel like it’s digging into my ankle and when I run or walk, it just feels uncomfortable on the ankle. The cushion on the bottom is pretty good. The material overall does feel stiff and not as forgiving the depth of the tow box feels like there’s too much room, but the width of the tow box is pretty good. I am not 100% sold on this yet but I feel like it took me a while to break in the version 15.
