Here's what customers have to say

Here is the refined product review summary: The shoes provide exceptional comfort and cushioning, with customers reporting they feel like "walking on clouds" and offer excellent support and stability, even for those with foot and leg issues. The extra cushioning in the soles is a major selling point, making the shoes ideal for long walks, standing all day, and running. Many customers describe the shoes as the most comfortable they've ever owned, significantly reducing their foot, leg, and back pain. The shoes are lightweight, breathable, and true to size, though some note they may need to size up slightly. The roomy toe box is also appreciated by those with wide feet or foot conditions. However, a minority of customers were disappointed with changes from the previous model, finding the new version to be more narrow and less cushioned.

Comfy

They seemed comfortable but not wide enough. Had to return.

I have been running and walking in glycerins for years and was looking for another model for walking. These did not feel good on my feet. They were too long and felt bulky when walking in them. Disappointed.

Too small

Run small. Why did they change? I have the ghost max 1 and love them. I have never had a 7 1/2 that is to small. And now they don’t have an 8 in a color I like.

Bummed!

At first, I was really excited for these! I really love my Brooks Ghost Max. I ran two half marathons with those. I just got the Ghost Max 2's last month. After running with them for a little over a month, they're not as comfortable as the Ghost Max. It feels like ever since I've switched to the Ghost Max 2, my runs haven't been great. I recently ran and my feet hurt right after. The Ghost Max is very comfortable and I need the extra cushion. I'm disappointed about these and I'm not sure if I'll continue to use them.

Disappointed

I really was excited to try the Ghost Max. I was quite disappointed. The toebox feels snug, and forefoot volume is low. The height of the sneaker feels off.

Doesn't live up to the OG

Loved the first Ghost Max and wore them out, so I decided to try the Max 2s this time. I was doing 10-14k steps in the original Ghost Max with no pain and plenty of energy in my steps. I wore my 2s this morning for a tiny 4500 steps and my feet were killing me. These are hard on the bottoms of the feet and on the heels. The padded upper also crowds the foot. I miss my OG Ghost Max. (The color ways are also super boring, but that's true of this entire line.)
