Shoulder strap critique
I have at least 5 pairs of these. I'm a high school welding teacher and I wear bib overalls every day. The only thing i think that needs to change is the elastic portion of the strap. The older version of this model had more cotton and were more durable than the current shoulder straps. Please go back to the earlier straps.

All around great piece of workwear
Great work work where with all the pockets in the right places. I don't work in construction or a professional handyman, but I do a lot of work around my house and no matter what I feel like. I always have a pocket for everything and every tools that I need. Material is durable, but yet flexible, which makes it easier when you're trying to crawl on their deck or on top of a roof or really anywhere.

Halloween
My second overall. I am a school teacher, and also run the wood shop at school? one of my students wants to dress up like me for Halloween, so he asked his mom to please, please buy him a Carhartt Overall like mine. I receive daily compliments from colleagues, parents, and students alike.

Quality that out lasts the other!
I have worn Carhartt bibs for years. They last and last. They will consistently out last the other brands. Period! Spend the few dollar more and get over TWICE the the value, longevity.

Great price
Bought for husband. Great fit, love the elastic gusset at the sides. Nice heavy duty fabric. Difficult to find locally. Not too loose in the seat and upper legs.

this is my second one - I love the fabric and the tweaked design
I bought my first one more than 10 years ago at the local hardware store and love it - and it's still going strong. I bought a new one just so I can have one when the other is in the laundry. I love the redesign of my new one, especially the more substantial clasps and the reinforced legs. I also bought one for my husband, who loves the elastic at the waist. So I can recommend them for men and women. The fabric is great for heavy yard work when I want protection, like weed eating.

Not great for skinny guys
I bought my normal size (34x36) and they fit well around waist and chest. Legs, however, is a different story. I can almost fit both of my legs legs in one side. I didn't buy the loose fit either. It's an annoying amount of extra fabric that gets in the way. They should introduce one more, SLIGHTLY narrow leg fit for those of us with chicken legs.
