Here's what customers have to say
The Carhartt overalls are generally well-received for their quality, durability, and comfort. Customers appreciate the reinforced knees, multiple pockets, and flexible side panels, though some note issues with the updated design, such as shallower pockets and a different strap system. While most find the overalls fit well, a few experienced problems with shrinking or the elastic straps wearing out quickly. Overall, the overalls are considered a reliable and functional work garment, though some long-time customers prefer the previous design.

The overall ms were not true to size. I was very disappointed when they come in and didn't fit. They way smaller than the size it's suppose to be. I recommend sizing up at least 1 size possible even 2 sizes.

Great product but the color you choose will affect your satisfaction.
Product is exactly as described. Fits nicely - I'm 5'11" and 200lbs - I ordered the 36" waist x 32" inseam. Material wore in quickly and has a soft, light feel to it. Functionality is ideal for the contracting work that I do. Product is made in Indonesia. And here's where things get important. I ordered this product in blue AND the same product in the typical Carhartt brown. Same product, same size. But? the brown is made in India. The material is significantly stiffer. The cut has to be to a different pattern because laying one product on top of the other they don't match up. I'm tempted to drag the brown pair behind the truck for a day or two. I've no doubt it will hold up to the beating but I feel like that's what it's going to take to make that pair a 'relaxed fit'. Either way, I've no doubt that these bibs will serve me well, as have all the other Carhartt products I've purchased in the past.

The toughness has slightly gone away
I'm just kinda disappointed with my bibs that I got. I bought them at a retail store. In early april late march and they're already beginning to rip in certain spaces, right above where the double layer is on the boot cuff and on the first wash some of the seams began to fray and tonight, while I was bending down, the buckle for the suspenders, came loose and had to repin the buckle back into place

Comfortable Working or as Casual Wear
I have wore Carhartts for approximately 45 years. Before that, it was logging pants logging or working in sawmills. I have them on most of the time around my place (Family farm acreage) now at my age, fantastic to work in?.

Will be my last pair of Carhartt Bibs
As a farmer, I've been wearing the unlined Carhartt bibs for 25+ years, and this latest design is obviously the product of a team of recent college grads who have never worn a pair of bibs in a working environment. The straps need to be tightened every 2-3 hours, the front pockets are so shallow that my keys fall out when laying under a vehicle and the fit is so loose that it makes the bibs cumbersome. You've lost a long term customer with this design, very disappointed.

Don't buy these if you liked your old Carhartts
Writing on my wife's account: I've worn Carhartt bibs since I discovered them in the early 80's. They rightfully earned their reputation as the toughest workwear you could find and they were/are daily wear in my welding shop. Last year, I really started noticing that the quality was slipping. The stitching was failing where it never used to and Carhartt decided to start recycling Grandpa's old whitey tidies for the elastic strap material. Despite this, I swallowed hard and ordered a couple more pair. Now you've applied the strap material logic to the whole product! The cloth is easily 40% lighter and feels like polyester dress pants. The front pockets are about 1-1/2 inches shallower and probably other changes I didn't notice because I was too disgusted. I also bought the same size as last order and the fit is enormous. We are returning these and are going to go elsewhere. Carhartt has now gone full Black & Decker: They've taken what made them famous and ran it into the ground. It's quite sad.

Disappointing shoulder straps
Flimsy stitching around the shoulders, one strap broke on day one. For this price they should not do that.
