Why We Like The Castelli Unlimited Pro Jersey
The Castelli Unlimited Pro Jersey is a warm-weather cycling jersey with a technical fit and function. Its lightweight Air O Stretch fabric is breathable and moves with us to keep us comfortable when we are working up a sweat, and it has Castelli's Race cut for an aerodynamic, slim fit. Summer rides are further complimented by a large upper back hydration pocket to stash our water bladder, and integrated hose loops allow us to route the hose over our shoulder and down to our side to keep us hydrated on the fly. Three zippered pockets hold our much-needed gels and bars, while a small zippered security pocket houses valuables.

Aero hydration for long road rides
I purchased this for the immediate purpose of an 88-mile road race, preferring to carry all of my H2O and fuel pre-mixed rather than rely on the feed zone bottles from volunteer swannies. In retrospect, I could have worn my USWE pack (many others did so), but I preferred the clean, aero lines of this jersey. I am (according to the Castelli website) between sizes and went smaller, preferring a race fit and assuming it would help secure the hydration bladder. This was a good call, as the snug fit helped hold everything in place. Once in a riding position, I almost forgot I had 2 liters of H2O on my back--reminded only when crossing RR tracks and the like. I'll still use an external pack for gravel, but this will be my go-to for tarmac.
