We reach for the Cervélo P5 Red AXS when speed is everything. Its fastback carbon frame drops vertical stiffness ~22% while retaining explosive lateral power transfer. The one-piece front-end lets us tune stack by as much as 40 mm and adjust extensions through a 0–30° range in 5° increments—keeping our position sharp and steady. Rolling is ultra-smooth and efficient on Reserve 77/88 TA wheels paired with Vittoria 700×29 mm tires in a 34 mm clearance frame.

Shifting is seamless with the SRAM Red AXS E-Tap wireless 1×12 system—50T aero crank with integrated powermeter, paired with a 10–33T cassette for versatile gearing. Braking runs through SRAM S900 Aero hydraulic calipers and Paceline X centerlock rotors for clean, confident stopping. Essentials stay aero thanks to Smartpak 400, rear hydration mount, and stem storage, ready to feed our effort without slowing it down.
