Tackle river adventures with the Rapid Pro Flip Flop—ultra-grippy, quick-drying, and built for water.

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve worn plenty of flip-flops on the river, but the Rapid Pro Flip Flop is a game-changer. The Vibram outsole grips slick rocks like nothing else, and the LUVSEAT footbed provides all-day comfort whether I’m guiding rafts or kicking back at camp. Plus, the reinforced toe post adds durability, making these my go-to water flips for any adventure."

When we’re hopping in and out of the raft or scrambling over river rocks, the Rapid Pro Flip Flop keeps us steady and comfortable. Chaco partnered with professional guides to create a flip-flop that’s up to the challenge, offering a secure fit and premium water-ready performance.

The Vibram outsole delivers six times the grip of standard adventure sandals, meaning we can confidently step onto wet riverbeds without slipping. The LUVSEAT footbed provides all-day support, while the quick-drying webbing and reinforced toe post ensure long-lasting durability. Whether we’re navigating rapids or relaxing shoreside, these flips are ready for the ride.

Good shoe

good shoe for hard use. good foot bed and tread. Only gripe is that I got blisters from the grippy foot bed material. Now have callous and ok.

Chaco flips that grip

Glad to see the Vibrum soles are back! These are great shoes.

Straps hurt

I love the added traction of the sole, but the straps are tight and cut up my feet. They aren’t as comfortable as the regular flip.

Chaco’s

I had a pair of Chaco’s for the last 5yrs which I wore almost everyday. I was getting off a plane and the guy behind me stepped on my flip flop which caused the material to come out of the ff and I had to throw them away. Because I loved my old Chaco’s so much I ordered another pair. These have a rougher footbed and took longer to break in but are still a good piece of foot wear.

Rapid Pro Flip

I was pleased with the footbed. Being thicker it's a bit stiffer than I'm use to.

Fantastic flips. Size up.

These flips are great quality & design. They do run narrow & short though. Definitely size up. For reference, I wear an 8 in Z chacos (have several older pair) but with these flips I need a 9.

Annoying Disappointed!!!

The footbed and sole are perfect. The straps are way too loose. My foot rolled off the footbed more than once while I was in the Grand Canyon. Annoying and not safe. The right foot straps are way looser than the left, which is weird.

Unusable hands-free

impossible to put on/take off without use of hands... so great for a flip flop you want to function like a shoe, but not so much for one you want to function as a standard flip flop

Love footbed, too early to tell if toe strap lasts

Very comfortable, footbed is more substantial so even better than previous flips. Still hoping the toe strap lasts longer, too early to tell.

Doesn’t matter it’s fake
