Good sandals, slow fulfillment.
Great sandal and excited to get a new set after I lost my last pair that I'd had for a long time. My main gripe is with the fulfillment which has taken a month to exchange for another size. Disappointing that they skimp and use a service that uses Smartpost to fulfill and doesn't deliver to my address and instead uses my local local post office which is so slow to sort items. Wish this was a faster process as I'm now about to leave for a river trip and won't have these sandals which I purchased for this reason. Trust these sandals are great like the other Chacos I've had in the past but shipping taking more than a week each way and a slow exchange process means I won't have these for a big chunk of summer and have to buy something else for a river trip. C'mon Chaco! :(

Approach sandals
Very comfortable and supportive sandal as typical with Chacos. Haven’t tested the rubber as much on rock yet but seems pretty grippy. Hoping these fill the hole in the market for “approach sandals” for hot weather climbing

Yep.
These are great. Straps are comfortable, the grip really inspires confidence. The foot bed is firm, in the way a sandal like this probably needs to be. Colors are more subtle in person (at least the yellow/green side of them). I preferred that right away. Super easy to adjust these. I had a pair of Chacos before where I never got all the way confident in what each pull was doing. These are quick, and you can really dial them in to fit the way you want them to. The only thing I wish for - and I imagine this is a long-standing desire of Chaco fans - is a strap keeper. I get the appeal of having a long strap you freely and quickly adjust. All for it. But the option to stash what feels like 6" of webbing would be nice. I think these are really well-thought out and really well-built sandals. They are not overly complicated, it's the materials and quality that justify the higher price tag. I'd pay it again, if/when these ever give out somehow.

Straps are too long.
The straps are too long and drag on the ground. This is not shown on the photo.

MAIN stap to long.
I bought two pairs of Z/1 chacos, this pair and one with the toe strap. Both sandals are great, only problem is both main straps are to long. There is is not enough adjustment available to snug up the sandals the way I like them.

Warning - poor footbed grip and uncomfortable
Great soles and I can certainly get them tight enough. However, I'm perplexed as to why the footbed is so slick. It causes my feet to move around in an uncomfortable manner, and the nubs are actually painful to the bottom of my toes.

Chaco fan
Always a classic. Light and soles that are sticky enough to maneuver through rock fields. Love these new chacos.

half sizes not offered
Bought this model (Rapid Pro) with its premium price because it was the only model left with the Vibram sole. I had such good results with my last pair with the Vibram sole I bought 10 + years ago I wanted the same thing. Unfortunately I'm a 10 1/2 size and they only offer whole sizes now, not half sizes. I bought the 10 but, as expected, its a little small. I wish I could have a 10 1/2 and then it would fit just right.
