Big enough for 2 adult chairs & gear
We want to enjoy the beach but don’t like getting scorched by the sun. This tent is perfect. Easy to set up and adjust as the sun moves through the day. The large is big enough for two beach chairs and gear, or if you just spread towels and sit on the ground directly, could fit up to 4. The stakes are a bit silly for sand use, but when you’re done putting all your stuff inside it, it’s plenty heavy and haven’t had any concerns about it blowing away. It’s easy to take down and stash away. Wish the carrying bag came with a strap to throw it over your shoulder. But would definitely buy again!

Wonderful, until it wasn't!
Large orange sky shade. This was for a 5-week beach vacation in Florida. I have enjoyed it a lot, it is light, tall enough to accommodate a folding chair and roomy enough for my folding table. I have enjoyed its protection to do some plein air painting on the beach. It has beeen easy to set up in spite of lousy ditections. I stake it down with sand stakes and then pop it up Today, at the 4-week mark, the shock chord that holds the tent poles together suddenly stretched out. Failure was sudden. I noticed that the tent wasn't holding up to the wind. It had been very stable even in 15-20 knot winds. When I took the tent down today, I saw that the shock cord had failed. I've used it about 15 times. I must admit I'm disappointed. Sadly. I have no replacement for week 5, and no way to restring the poles.

Hire a technical writer already!
The instructions are just pictures of the structure fully assembled. Being that the 2 poles are attached, you’d think it would be easy. Nope! I tossed it aside and moved on after 20 minutes of struggling against a light breeze and this trash.

ripped too easy
bought for a week at the beach, however the tent pole sleeve ripped on two sides, otherwise would have liked to keep using, was disappointed as have always found coleman products good quality

Perfect shade !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I have an 8 month old and he can’t be in the sun too much since he’s small and I didn’t want to keep him in the car seat all the time so we got this as an alternative ! It’s so much easier to carry this than an umbrella and the thing that goes in the thing that holds the umbrella in the ground. It is very easy to set up you just take it out of the carrying bag and it basically unfolds to the way it’s supposed to open! I love it !!!

Easy setup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Skyshade beach shade by Coleman is an absolute necessity for a day at the beach, or anywhere you'd like to relax in the shade. Its extremely easy to set up, as all the rods are attached with wire, and there's only 2 rods to set up. There's stakes that attach it to the ground, and it can withstand a decent wind.

Nice beach tent

Awesome beach shade!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this beach shade! The best thing about this is its size folded up! Very compact and easy to take along with you. I can grab this and put it in my beach bag and have it with me to protect me from the hot afternoon sun. Easy to set up and easy to take down and put away. Perfect addition to a weekend at the beach!
