Great boot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boot is waterproof. Mine felt inside a river and it’s so insulated that water didn’t want to come out either. The only downside is the suede, it dies stain easily but everything else delivers. It’s comfortable, lightweight, sturdy, good grip. I loved it.

So great I bought another pair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous pair of Newton Ridge boots took me through the Black Forest and many points east and west. So comfortable and stylish (love the red laces) they became my go-to shoe even when I wasn't hiking. Eight years later the soles were the only worn out part. I was delighted to see the same pair still on the website. Even more jazzed when they arrived and I slipped into them. Same great fit!

So cute and comfy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my very first pair of hiking boots, and I couldn’t be happier with them! Right out of the box, they were incredibly comfortable, there was no need for a painful break-in period at all. They have pretty good ankle support and grip, which makes me feel much more secure and confident on steep or uneven trails. Plus, they look so cute, especially with the pink laces! If you’re new to hiking like me, or just looking for a reliable and good-looking pair of boots, I highly recommend these!

Boots living up to their reputation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for some waterproof hiking boots that were well-rated by third party groups. These were at the top of several lists, so I decided to give them a try. They came in super fast, and I put them on for a quick trial. I didn't even take them off for the rest of the day! They fit right out of the box without any awkward breaking in. On my first lengthy outing, they were comfortable and felt like we had been hiking buddies for years. I haven't tried them out in super wet conditions, but a wet summer in my region will give me plenty of opportunity.

Great Boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots have been great! I was a little worried they might rub the top of my foot but I have had them a couple of weeks now and no problem. Also I know color doesn’t matter in hiking boots but these are a really cute shade of brown. I would recommend these boots to anyone!

Good Comfortable Boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for a trip to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Glacier National Parks, where I knew I would be going on some challenging hikes. These boots were perfect on sand, rock, and snow! They are waterproof (though I didn't submerge them completely in water), which also means your feet will feel hot in the boots, but I think that is the trade-off. I saw at least 5 other girls with the same boots! I got some compliments as well. I'm a size 6.5 - 7 and I got a 7, but I wish I tried the 6.5 to compare. 7 was comfortable, my toes were not cramped and I was able to wear thick socks. I have flexible ankles and twist them a lot while hiking, so the extra ankle support was nice. When I wanted more flexibility, I laced up to the second-to-last aglet.

Great Waterproof Shoe: Mountain Tested
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a pair of a similar pair of waterproof Columbia's two years ago and got these to replace that pair. I hike it rocky, mountainous terrain with lots of water crossings and these hold up very well and keep my feet fairly dry. Highly recommend them.
