Comfortable and affordable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The silver ridge shirt is very comfortable to wear and quite breathable too. I am 5 ft 9 inches tall with a 40 inch chest and the size small fits me very well. The mesh panels aid in airflow and the pockets are very useful too. With respect to wicking ability, it’s pretty average though.

Good fit and breathability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Columbia Silver Ridge Utility shirt is perfect for hot weather with the built-in mesh panels and thin breathable fabric. I am biologist who does field work in hot weather and need a breathable and wicking shirt that hold up to rough use. I am 5’ 10” and 165lbs and the size medium fits me well - suitably relaxed and loose fitting. The mesh ventilation works perfectly to dump excess heat and the thin airy fabric is very comfortable - have to see how it holds up to the rigors of field work. The Velcro pockets are useful, though the pocket opening laterally towards the side instead of opening from the top may not be very useful. Also, because the fabric is thin, it may not hold up to thorns and bushes well.

An all-weather shirt that looks and feels great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure I would like this because of the color but it turns out I do and others have commented on how good it looks on me. It's almost a teal green blue if that makes any sense. It fits perfectly outside one's pants for a casual look, It is very cool temperature-wise because of the way it is constructed with vents and also the sleeves can be rolled up and held in place. In short, a perfect shirt for both hot and cool weather.

Good Looking and Functional
