I returned this product before using it

Super bulky and frankly not as expected. The zippers are way too tight and the crossbody / bag combo use case is impractical as the zipper connectors to those components are not designed well. Finally the adjustments to the back strap are impractical which makes load management a disaster. Don’t waste your money.

Just received the pack and it is amazing. Will use this for 10 day trip to Portugal soon. Amazing product and service.

Can't wait to take this abroad!

Absolutely love the design and functionality of this pack and that it's front-loading with hip straps. The purple color is super cute, a welcome change for me because most of my backpacks are blue! The zip off top crossbody bag thing seems a bit weird for me, so I'll probably keep it on top of the pack (but a really cool design and thoughtful idea for those who don't want to pack a separate small bag). Only taking off one star because I feel like there should be a couple of smaller front pockets/straps to hook things onto, plus the more reinforced fabric should wrap most of if not all of the bag if it were up to me for durability's sake! Taking this bag to the southern hemisphere in a few weeks and am looking forward to the fact that I won't need to check a bag for my 3+ week travels.

Allow 50L Adventure is a game changer!

As world travelers, my wife and I recently purchased the Allpa 50L adventure bags to replace our E-bags and roll on luggage. We seldom check bags when we travel and when we saw the two-in-one design with the detachable sling bag, now we can carry just one bag wherever we go. The no frills look lightens it up and cotopaxi’s waterproof fabric compliments the look so we don’t have to worry about rain getting to and from our destinations. It is our go-to bag for weekend to weeks-long trips. If asked what I would change, I would only add in a few attachment points to the exterior for one or two D-rings or carabiners for hanging a wet pair of shoes, jacket, or to dry a shirt as we traveled. Otherwise, the Allpa 50L is a win!! Happy travels!

I was excited to try the allpa 50L, but there were some disappointments. I think the construction of the pack was great and well thought out but when it came to the back support, keeping the pack off of your back and weight more on the straps and waist strap was an after thought. Great Bag, but the shoulder straps and keeping the back cool needs a bit of work.

Great bag. Full of smart ideas

Bought this for a one month, one bag trip to Thailand. Plenty of space and full of thoughtful ideas to make the most of it. I’m 6’8” and was still able to adjust this bag to my comfort. I think are a few opportunities for improvement. 1. Since this bag uses a large central compartment like a duffel bag, it would be nice to straps to hold stuff in place. I didn’t think it was a big deal when those were left off the latest allpa models, because at least those have enough pockets and zippers to organize. But it would have been useful in this design. 2. The Sling bag doesn’t lay flat and feels a bit awkward. The way the straps are attached, it feels like a Fanny pack. But this bag feels too large to wear it that way. What’s puzzling is that Cotopaxi makes separate 8L sling bags and all of those have strap points that make more sense. Overall excellent backpack.

Best bag I’ve ever had

I love this bag. It has so many pockets, features, hidden compartments. The detachable fanny is great for day trips and fits my iPad! The color is stunning too. I will be using this bag for the next 20 years
