Reliable and gets the job done
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This thing hangs on through absolutely the worst weather. I had a that ended in 6 inches of peanut butter mud, and my Gripper remained unmoved the entire time and at the end of the day, my entire flat kit was still in place. I don't keep any CO2 cartridges in it, but it keeps the tube pretty well protected from the elements. If you don't have a lot of clearance between your saddle and rear tire in the lowest position, I wouldn't run it on the saddle. It does have really long straps though so you can easily attach it to the top tube or downtube if needed.
