Update on my previous post

I just received my size 10 Danner boots after returning the size 11 that I had previously reviewed as being way too big. These fit great.

Not true to size. Way too big!

I tried these size 11 boots on when they arrived and they were way too big. I ordered them based on the sizing recommendations on the L L Bean website. They looked like a well made boot so I returned them and ordered a size 10, I hope they fit.

11.5 Wide vs Standard Review

I typically wear a wide 2E in Brooks tennis shoes. I ordered a standard 11.5 in the Mountain 600 as well as a wide. The extra toe room in the wide version was perfect, but ultimately chose the standard because the wide version was too wide through the rest of the shoe. It would be nice if the standard toe box was just a hair wider.

On the money light n dry - great value. They fit as expected.

Sounds like a dramatic headline, but it’s true. I’ve worn Redwing boots forever. They take a long time to get comfy, if ever. I needed some winter/hiking boots. Tried these on, and have yet to take them off, (the shower being one exception. You can walk, hike, sit, stand, sleep with these babies on because they are sooo dang comfortable! Yet rugged. I love them!!
