Great shoe

First impression, I think these are going to be perfect! I bought both the Danner Trail 2650 Hiking Shoes and the upgraded Trail 2650 GTX Hiking Shoes to compare. Both had the same Vibram outsole. I found the upgraded GTX option to be more stiff throughout the shoe which was less comfortable to walk around in them. The upgraded version would require breaking-in. I decided to return those and keep the Trail 2650 Hiking Shoe. These do not appear to need breaking-in, they are ready to go from the start! This shoe will be perfect for my intended use of camping, day hikes, and more casual wear. Excited to use them for upcoming adventures :)

Not comfy

They just didn’t work for me. They felt odd. I ended up giving them away. They looked nice though.

The ideal walking shoes!

I am in love with these shoes! I’d forgotten to pack a pair of walking shoes for our Maine vacation. We stopped off at an LL Bean store to see if I could find something that would work. When I found these, I fell in love with the colorful, youthful look. After wearing them for the whole vacation, I decided I’ll be looking for Danner in the future. The exterior heel cushion makes for a great fit. The shoes are comfortable. And best yet, they needed no breaking in - I was good to go hiking through Acadia the day after purchase!

Flexible yet with enough support, grippy Vibram sole, wide toe box, lightweight, breathable, and water resistant. Flat out in love with these shoes! Just biked 5 days on the Kettle Valley RailTrail in BC in them and they held up beautifully 👍

Comfy Hiking shoe

Very comfortable and without being heavy. Breathes well so feet don't get too hot.

Best shoes ever!!

I absolutely LOVE Danner shoes! They are comfortable from the first time you put them on. They fit really well and are so supportive. I'm 76 and can truthfully say they are the best and most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

Shoe fit and quality

Fits nice. Not narrow. Room for your toes. It does slide on the heel a little, wearing nice socks help with that. It is a bit expensive. I’m not sure I can afford a second pair, but they do seem to be well made.

Awesome shoe

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Wore it on smaller hikes (less than 10 miles) and even crossed a small river on a waterfall hike in these and they held up well. Great traction and didn?t hold too much water. Super happy with these shoes.
