Comfy and cushioned.
Love them! I bought these socks to go with my new hiking boots to treat myself on a hiking trip to Maine. They are great, comfortable, moisture wicking and breathable wool made in the USA! Love this brand! Plan on purchasing more for the fall months of hiking. Kept my feet well cushioned and comfortable while hiking on some warm summer days. They washed beautifully several times over already.

Disappointed - Pilled After One Wash

I’ve been a loyal fan of Darn Tough socks for years and have never had an issue when purchasing directly from them. This time, I decided to order through Backcountry—and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The socks pilled after just one wash and felt rough and uncomfortable during my hike. It was surprising, considering the usual quality I’ve come to expect from this brand. Not sure if it's a difference in batches or a quality control issue, but I’ll be sticking to ordering directly from Darn Tough moving forward.

Band Too Tight
The band is too tight. Leaves a huge mark on my leg. (And I have thin legs.)

Best socks ever made
I never thought I's pay $25 for a pair of socks, but these Darn Tough socks are worth it. Plus they are guaranteed for life. They support my feet, they fit, they are warm in winter and cool in summer, plus they are pretty.I have 5 pair and the oldest (4 years old) is as good as this latest pair. I'm outdoors all the time and these get heavy use.

Too big
I ordered a medium size in these Darn Tough socks because the smalls have been too small. (I wear a size 6 - 6 1/2 shoe. The mediums are huge! I plan to exchange them at the store for a small.
