Dometic builds quality
Great chair. Compact and easy to store. Even comes with its own bag. I like the bit of tillt back it has as well.

Eh, ok.
I was comparing this and the yeti camp chair. I’m a bigger guy, so needed something sturdy. I went with this one because of cost, but mostly weight. The yeti chair is HEAVY. I agree with a few other reviews, this one leans back a little too much, and also has no cup holders. That’s almost a necessity with our electronics today.

What a missed opportunity
The chair is comfortable, well made and easy to carry. The materials are excellent. The only problem is that it leans far too much back, causing you to leans forward a lot if you're trying to eat or have a conversation with someone. I purchased this so I could cook on my low table and my back and neck started hurting the next day. Not only is the backrest at close to a 45 degree angle, but so is the seat! The ideal customer would be sitting by themselves, enjoying the view (without a drink), and stretching their legs out. If you need to talk to someone, have a table in front of you, enjoy a drink while sitting, or cook then this is not for you.

Best folding chair for the money

I’ve used these for tailgating and I think they are every bit as good as the yeti chairs but for half the price.

Not grea
I ordered two Dometic camp chairs from Backcountry. The first was new and in new packaging. The second appeared to be previously used as it had wear spots in the fabric and even had a small hole in the material. The carrying case had black marks as it had also been used. It did not come with the original labels. I am disappointed as I am not sure if I received a previously returned item. It should have been advertised as used not new. I tried to call your customer service help line, but my call was directed to a call center out of the country. Your gear head was not that helpful. As far as the quality of the chairs, the aluminum frames seem well constructed. However, the “burley, heavy duty 600D fabric” does not seem like it will last the length of the 3 year warranty. I cannot recommend these chairs and they are not worth the money. Honestly, I think I am more disappointed with the Backcountry service than the product.
