Just what was needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was going on a long cross country summer tour with stops in 25 cities over 11 weeks. Sleeping on gym floors so everything including the bedding needed to fit inside and be packed and unpacked almost daily as well as survive being loaded and unloaded on the bus all summer long by teenagers. We loved that it was without the large frame which takes away so much weight, and she was happy that everything she needed for the adventure fit in one bag.

There's probably a better option elsewhere
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good concept but poor execution. The bag has a tendency to tip off its wheels if not perfectly aligned, but worse is how the wheels roll toward you if you hold the handle too high, which causes the end of the bag to drag across concrete resulting in holes after only 2 weeks use. And don't try the warranty b/c that's just a marketing gimmick - the US said I need to talk to Australia, and Australia said talk to the NZ retailer about a replacement, and the NZ retailer had none in stock, so at this dead end I bought Tenacious Tape (nylon) to fix the weaker kevlar (polyester) of the bag. Disappointing experience.

Looks Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have not yet taken it out on a trip, but it is big, roomy, and very well made and tough. I got this because I used to go through wallets often, they would break, wear out, etc. Then I got one that I have now been using for probably 30 years - fabric still good, zippers work well, it just keeps on and on. Made by Eagle Creek. So I expect the same from this duffel.

Replacement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great duffel for my ski trips out west. Everything but the skis for 2 weeks of skiing go into this bag.

Love this bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one of these bags. My first one must be 7 years old and still is doing great, actually my daughter has it now. Best, most user friendly suitcase/duffle I own.

sturdy large bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bag with large capacity. Rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the handle. I would prefer a telescoping handle to the strap. The strap is short and very flexible and hard to pull and was a struggle.

Held up fantastic!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got back from a two week trip to South Africa. The main reason we chose this luggage was because of its light weight yet spacious and holds a lot. This trip would only allow us one piece of luggage not weighing more than 46 pounds. The bag held up great even after 9 flights in two weeks. Only wish the color choices would have darker options to help cover up some of the wear and tear but the material and zippers are strong and sturdy.

No more hard cases
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tired of hard shell cases that disintegrate within three flights. We liked the Eagle Creek duffel so much that we bought a second.

Great bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super durable. My prior bags all tore but this holds up great. The angle when pulling a heavy load isn't the best because there isn't a reinforced retractable handle. However, you have the whole volume of the bag instead. The way the top opens can take some getting used to but it allows you to pack everything into the corners nice and tight. Great bag, would repurchase, highly recommend.
