Used only once. Not as

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used only once. Not as strong as my old Eagle creek suitcase.

Family bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this bag to make packing the car/flying/taking the train easier with our family of 5 (3 young children). We have successfully used this single bag for clothing for all 5 of us (in EC packing cubes) on three 2-5 night trips. The extender was great to give a little extra room on the way home and it held up nicely on the train and metro and carting it a mile from the station to our hotel in the driving rain. I’d highly recommend this bag if it’s space and durability you’re looking for.

Major disappointment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Expanse seems to have been designed by someone who doesn’t travel very often. I chose this bag to replace a Tarmac, which was a very good piece of luggage. Great design and thoughtful layout. However, the Expanse bag is a very poor substitute for the Tarmac, especially for someone like me who makes 6-8 international trips per year. The Expanse is not designed well, has a poor layout, and cheaply made. It lacks usable storage pockets on the front cover, lacks the mesh pockets on the wall of the interior and lacks sturdiness. It definitely isn’t the same quality as the Tarmac bags which are no longer being produced by Eagle Creek.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] works well, and keeps its form well. Also easy to transport even with 45ish pounds in it.

So, ok. Miss my Horizon line bag….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thins was a warranty replacement for my cherished Horizon bag. Eagle Creek warranty is good. Unfortunately, the Horizon line is no longer….. With that said, this bag is ok. Not as many additional compartments inside or outside. They are really missed. The wheels on this bag are less robust as well. After its first trip to Europe, the wheels scrape on the side of the housing. Otherwise, the bag did hold up ok. Overall, not nearly as robust as my Horizon however. We will see how it holds up with future trips.

Big empty space inside is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big empty space inside is an asset. But the handle support inside is inconvenient and impractical. 2 Wheels always better than any spinner wheels for long term life time. The straps inside are useless and impractically set up. Good roller othewise.

Much lower quality than my last one:neutral_face:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to love my eagle creek suitcase. When I had to replace it I wanted to get another one of the same type. This one looked the closest. When it arrived I was extremely surprised and disappointed in the quality of this one, especially compared to my old one. I ended up returning it.
