HEX Gravel Tire blends supple ride feel with hex-tread grip for all-condition control
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I’ve tested this tire across Utah gravel from slick hardpack to chunky desert trails, and it just grips. The cornering bite is insane for how fast it rolls, and I love how the casing feels super plush without feeling sluggish. My go-to for anything from weekend races to long backroad rambles."
We expect more from our gravel tires, and the ENVE HEX delivers across the board. From the nano-enhanced rubber compound to the progressive hexagonal tread, this tire balances fast-rolling efficiency with confident grip. The supple casing conforms to variable surfaces, while the decoupled tread blocks flex to maintain control in cornering, braking, and accelerating, even when we’re deep into a rough day in the saddle.
The HEX adapts to terrain with scaled tread and a stable contact patch. Anti-flat protection under the tread and an extended bead chafer defend against punctures without killing the ride feel. From fast fire roads to loose-over-hard gravel, the HEX is our new benchmark for mixed-surface traction and long-haul comfort.

Know what you're buying
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought these tires directly from ENVE when they were having a sale last winter. Supple casing, good/effective tread design, smooth rolling and good looking. BUT, know these are super lightweight race style tires with a fragile casing. I found this out in an unfortunate way rolling down a groomed gravel road (read: was not getting rowdy in chunk and chunder) where an errant rock slashed the sidewall of my front tire at speed and I woke up in the dirt with a broken shoulder (scapula and clavicle), broken helmet, and broken Zipp 303 wheel. An expensive (time and money) and painful lesson learned. I, personally, will not be using these again, but for those that do, know what you're buying.
