Comfortable, ventilated, moderately stif

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I’ve only logged a few hundred miles in these but so far I am quite happy. I use Shimano pedals and have had no issues with regard to release or too much pedal pressure. I have very damaged feet and these seem to have solved the issues for me. Sizing is unusual, I had to size down from 42.5 to 41.5. All of my other cycling, hiking and general purpose shoes are 42.5. Good ventilation, roomy without being sloppy and very nice uppers for a synthetic. Uppers are soft and with the BOA system, conform to my feet well.

Great multi-purpose biking shoe

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I've had Giro, Specialized, and Diadora, all of which varied in size. After a lot of research, I settled on the Terras in gray/black. Fi'zi:k's sizing chart is a bit tricky. For reference, I'm 5'10" 170 with shoe size between 9.5-10.5). I ordered these in 43.5 EU / U.S. 10.25 (odd) and after trying them on, I was stoked that they fit perfectly. I wouldn't go any larger as I've got the Boa cranked almost all the way with summer weight socks. There's a roomy toe box so these are a great fit with heavier socks as well. Cool that you can add cleats. These are so versatile that I use them for both mountain and road. Comfortable, great looking, and simple on-and-off. Love them.

I’m really happy with the fit and comfort of these Fizik Terra Atlas shoes. Finally found a pair that fits normal. And they look great too!!

Fizik Terra Atlas

I have a couple of hundred miles in these shoes. The fit is good. One of the studs fell out of the shoe on the first ride and Fizik customer service never responded about a request for replacement. Note that the boa dials on the shoes do not loosen (multi-directional), they either open or tighten, which may be a deal breaker for those that like to loosen while riding.

Not nearly as good as its predecessor

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This replaced the Terra X5 shoe. It is almost identical except for the removal of the lower strap. This was not something that should have been removed. I can tighten the top of the shoe, but now my toes and lower end of my foot are way too loose while riding. Tightening the BOA more just tightens the top and does nothing for the toe end. After trying these out I found a like-new used pair of Terra X5 on eBay thankfully and am back on the shoes I love. Since I can't return these due to taking a muddy mtb ride, I will keep them as backups for muddy race weekends.
