Cape wearers unite!
I followed other's recommendations and got the XS. I am 5'7 and weigh 160 pounds. Normally, I wear a women's large consistently but went w/ the XS for the Luhkka. The shoulders are exactly where they need to be and the snaps even on the smallest configuration are not too tight. There is plenty of room to wear layers underneath - a hoodie, a bulky sweater, you name it. I love the kangaroo pouch on the outside but my only recommendation is to have a kangaroo pouch in the INSIDE. Wouldn't that be something? Thanks for a great product.

Love my Luhkka. Perfect dog walking gear
I have had my Luhkka for about seven years. I wear it multiple seasons for dog walking, and bike riding. It is a great garment for being active outside and very comfortable.

I am a cape convert now!
Superb fabric (as expected from g-1000), thoughtful design, and warm padding. I impregnated the fabric with the wax and it is now my favorite thing to don in seattle drizzle. What’s not to like? The only, and minor, issue is that fjallraven does not do petite sizes. I am 4’11” with 103 pounds. The cape covers my hands even in the size xxs, but the highly functional snap buttons can secure the sleeves into snuggly fit around the wrists. What was unexpected is how well the cape regulates body heat while keeping me warm. With on-and-off drizzle and wind, temperatures play tricks in pnw. If the temp goes over 45-47, it feels humid and I get sweaty in a regular waterproof jacket. If the temp drops below 43, it feels bone chilling. The cape solved that problem: It’s a cloak of invincibility!

Perfect size for me!
This holds my iPhone (which is in a case) and a hard sided glasses case perfectly, along with a tube of lip balm and keys. Slip some cash and cards in the front pocket for easy access. Love the multiple attachment points for the straps -allows for adjustment to front, side, or back wearing to suit my needs. Excellent quality and value!

Well made, almost perfect
I bought this for a few purposes: a layer over my bulkiest sweaters, cold walks with the dog (to be able to manage her leash slack with both hands under this without my hands being exposed to the elements) and something to keep me cozy on the couch when I'm knitting and reading (a more multi-functional snuggle). It's been great for all, with some minor suggested tweaks. I'm 5'2, and got xxs. I'm typically an xs or s, but given reviews, sized down. It's slightly tight around my throat when zipped all the way up, and the smallest snap option is too small for my wrists, but given the options on both of those between zipper, extra material when unzipped, and other snaps, it wasn't worth the extra bulk elsewhere on an xs. It's still a little long on me to be slightly inconvenient when I need to get my hands out from under it and use them quickly (I.e. taking pictures on my phone). For this reason, I like snapping it up for the sleeves option, but then wish the front hand pocket was warmer so I could maintain the coziness of having my hands in my jacket pockets under it. I thought the whole thing would be warmer, and like the wool lining suggestion in another review. I definitely don't think of it as an insulating layer. It is perfect as an outer layer in cold, misty, windy, and/or light rainy conditions. I also missed that the zipper front opening has material between it when unzipped, and wish it was open for more ventilation when things heat up or I need to fit a small kiddo under it when they get too cold. As someone who likes to put their hands in pockets always, I also like the suggestion of an inside kangaroo pocket, for when you're wearing a bulky sweater and not a jacket. This would also help keep it centered when it's not snapped/sleeved, because it is heavy and swingy and it can shift around. Overall I like this thing and I might make some of those adjustments myself so that I use it more. The hood is nice and deep for ponytails and thick hats, snow and rain shake off beautifully, the material between the zipper does make it nice and cozy (snood-like), and my pregnant friend loves it too. It feels expensive for what it is combined with the tweaks I want, but it is very well made.

Lasting very well
Had this cape for about 7 years and just used again as the temperature has finally dropped enought to wear. Great range of movement -warm front pocket and good detail around hood. I like the smaller zipped pocket too. Used every winter for 7 years and like all my Fjallraven kit- it is proving to be hardwearing and great quality.

Clint Eastwood
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- Small
- Height:
- 5' 5"
- Weight:
- 120
Do you want to be cool like Clint Eastwood? Or...as a girl Clint Eastwood? Get this jacket and some brown tall boots. Better yet, get someone to give it to you as a gift because it's super expensive. With super style come super expense. Not like everyone else's dumb poofy coat but just as warm and more fun in fashion situations, in other words, not for skiing and hiking but going around town when it is too frickin' cold to not wear a really warm coat!!!

Highly interested in a mens
Would love to see one of these made for men, especially one with a sustainably sourced wool lining. I like the product because it has no sleeves, it would make for a useful bushcraft garment.
