Experience adventure in vivid detail with the Instinct 3 AMOLED, featuring a bright display and rugged durability

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"This is the best-looking Instinct yet! The AMOLED display makes all the data incredibly easy to read, even in bright sunlight, and the battery life is still impressive. It has all the adventure-ready features we love—multi-band GPS, heart rate tracking, barometer, and water resistance—now with a sleek, high-contrast screen. The 55mm version gives you a bigger display, while the 45mm keeps things compact without sacrificing features."

The Garmin Instinct 3 AMOLED redefines adventure watches with its vivid AMOLED display and rugged build designed to handle any challenge. Whether navigating remote trails, training for endurance events, or tracking daily wellness, this watch delivers precise data with a stunning high-contrast screen that enhances visibility in all conditions.

Built for exploration, the fiber-reinforced polymer case, 10 ATM water resistance, and scratch-resistant glass ensure ultimate durability, while the multi-band GPS, altimeter, barometer, and compass provide real-time navigation and environmental insights. Heart rate, sleep, and stress tracking keep us informed, and smart notifications let us stay connected even when off-grid.

The 55mm variant offers a larger display for those who prefer maximum visibility, while the 45mm version keeps things lightweight and streamlined—both packed with advanced outdoor features for any adventure.

Superior, smart watch in every way!

I bought this to replace my Apple Watch being amazed at the ease of use and how much better it is at tracking individual activities am amazed that some of the features that this has packed into it 10 times what Apple watches got. Completely sold on the Garmin product so much so about the speed sensors for the bike and the scale to round out the training regiment very worthwhile investment.

Worth the Purchase!

Big Garmin fan! Battery length is major win! My prior Garmin lasted 5 years, and went with the Instinct Amoled this time. 60 days since purchase and happy so far!

Love my new watch , the features are great

Got my watch a few weeks ago , got a friend to help me set it up, he showed me that I could do it all on my phone through Harmon connect and it was a game changer. Still haven’t gotten all that this watch offers . Love my morning review , that is really special. Sleep review and my recovery stats

It’s the best watch made instinct, 350 mm

I was so thankful about this watch and I couldn’t wait for it to get here. It is so helpful. It does so many things. It’s one of the smartest watches on the market and when I say one of the best right now since I’ve worn it now and used it. I can honestly say it is the best the features are great Best Buy ever made

My first Garmin

I can't compare it to other Garmin models, but I can compare it to other commercial sports watches or bands I've had. And definitely, buying this Instinct 3 was my best decision of the year. Robust, masculine, it gives me access to Connect with countless sports statistics that really matter. It's like having a coach in my hand instead of a circus clown. The only thing I miss is being able to listen to music, but the absence of this feature is overshadowed by its other powerful functions. Excellent purchase, I will definitely move on to more models from the brand.

Great battery life….great watch!

I was looking for a watch that had a brighter display with a longer battery life. I found that in the Garmin Instinct 3 AMOLED watch. Even with notifications on, the 15 day battery life is outstanding. Support from Garmin has been over the top! Having a issue with the watch, receiving superior guidance my issue became resolved. This is my 3 rd Garmin watch, and they get better with each new product they introduce. Keep up the great work!

Pretty complicated to get started

I like the watch a lot, and some of the features are intuitive, but a good deal of it requires mastering the navigation of menus which I've not found to be easy.

One drawback

I have had this for a couple months now. I like it except for one thing and that is that the screen doesn't light up all the time when I turn my wrist to look at it. I know I can set it to display all the time but I believe that uses battery faster.

Better than a Instinct 2X Solar, but...

This watch is aesthetically awesome, and the screen is better for me with its AMOLED option. Although this watch still does not track my sleep 100%.That same issue was present with its predecessors (Vivo Active, Instinct 2X.) The nap tracking is an added benefit, but it does not ease the frustration of missing sleep recording. Also, it seems silly to have phone call notifications that you are unable to answer, as this watch does not have a speaker or mic. Overall I do recommend this watch, but there are room for improvements.
