Why We Like The Baltoro 75L Backpack
Say we're traveling abroad for our backpacking trip. We're going to need some extra space for everything from traveling clothes to hiking clothes, warm layers and gear, and a good pair of camp shoes so we're not always stuck in our sweaty walking boots. The Baltoro 75L Backpack provides all the space we need to make it happen. This pack gives us ample storage space without sacrificing comfort for our multi-day trek. Because it's a bigger pack, Gregory adds an aluminum frame to stay stable and supported from the minute we step out of our hostel to the second we snuggle into our sleeping bag at the end of the night. Gregory's Freefloat Auto Angle Adjust suspension system moves the LifeSpan EVA shoulder straps up and down the 3D AirMesh back panel for a customized feel that shapes to our back, and specific storage spaces for sleeping bags, poles, sunglasses, and electronics keep us organized from the first day to the last.

Here's what customers have to say
The backpack is praised for its comfort and ability to handle heavy loads well, with good weight distribution and adjustability. It has useful features like multiple pockets and a water bottle holder. However, some reviewers were disappointed that the latest model no longer includes a rain cover or removable day pack. A few also experienced issues like ripped seams or problems with the hip belt pockets. Overall, the backpack is considered a well-designed and durable option that provides a comfortable carrying experience for multi-day hikes and backpacking trips.

Comfortable and breathable
Took this pack on its first adventure on the Healy Pass to Egypt Lake in Banff. The pack was comfortable and breathable on the back. Nice to not be super sweaty on the climbs. Carried a total weight including the bag of 38lbs. Its nice to have the headroom for longer trips which I have planned for later this year. The mid pack access zippers and extra pockets were nice to have. Don't have to tear your pack apart if you forgot to take out snacks for the day. I wish the bag came with the summit pack and rain cover. I also wish the bag had longer shoulder straps but that might just be something I can work out with moving the back panel around. Overall, I think this bag is great and I would buy it again. I will take it on a few multi-day trips and feel confident it will work out great.

Staying organized
Organization is the number 1 reason I purchased the Baltoro. It has not disappointed. Ease of access and multiple pockets gives me easy access to all my gear.

Perfect backpack for long hikes
After I purchase this backpack I did the Havasupai hike and I use it to hike all my gear in and out! It has enough room for everything you need while still be compact.

Comfortable and large
Took it on the Rae Lakes Loop in Kings Canyon for 4 nights and 5 days. It carried the weight comfortably. It was large enough to fit my food, clothes, and gear. My son bought one, too. So three of us have this pack.

Love this cushy pack
Just did a 4 day 3 night trip in the Trinity Alps; lots of rain and would have appreciated a rain cover but the pack didn’t let any water in and it was incredibly easy to carry my 42 lb load in rough terrain. So many features and the comfort was tops. Highly recommend.

Love the Front U-Zip access to main body of pack
I've been using this pack for a year now and I love it. It has so many great features but my favorite is the fact that I can access my main pack from zippers on the outside. No more fear that I've buried something I might need to access before getting to camp. Now I can easily access those items from the outside zippers. Also love the 3 pocket brain, dual outside pockets, mesh pocket and bottle holster.

Amazing Bag
This is the best bag you can buy right now. The bag does extremely well with packing. I over pack pretty consistently and this bag has a place for everything. I did a short 6 mile summit and forgot to bring a day pack, I left out my tent and sleeping bag, kept everything else and had no issues. The comfortably is 10/10. I went on 4 day trip tracking about 7-8 each day and nothing was sore or felt noticeable different after the trip. Great bag, highly recommend.

Comfortable pack that distributes the weight well on trail. Tried on different packs but this one fit my frame the best. Recommend this pack.
