When the trail drops steep and the rocks get loose, the Hutchinson Griffus tire family gives us all the bite and backbone we need to ride hard and ride fast. Developed in Hutchinson’s Racing Lab with input from elite freeriders and enduro pros, the Griffus series is built to handle dry hardpack, slick roots, blown-out berms, and everything in between. These tires are dialed for gravity riding, but still roll fast enough for technical climbs and mid-stage transitions.

The Griffus 2.5 is purpose-built for the front, featuring tall, aggressive knobs for predictable cornering and unbeatable braking traction. Its triple-density Race Ripost Gravity compound brings together a stable base with grippy outer layers for controlled deformation and rebound, helping us hold lines and stick landings at speed. Meanwhile, the Griffus 2.4 shines out back with staggered, ramped knobs and a slightly lower tread height for faster rolling and efficient braking, especially when pedaling hard or diving into steep chutes. Both tires feature a tough 66 TPI casing reinforced with Hardskin, offering confidence on everything from enduro races to E-MTB laps and freeride drops.
