28oz Insulated Food Jar
We didn't know how badly we wanted to pack our own ice cream until we could. Created with HydroFlask's unique double-wall insulation, this food jar keeps our meals at the appropriate temperature while we get through the day. The jar's lid stays tightly sealed, preventing leaks even on bumpy trails, and it's built with a soft grip that makes it easy to open when the time comes. The wide mouth makes it easier to pack snacks and eat right them out of the container.

Here's what customers have to say
The reviews on these food jars are mixed. Some customers praise the large size, wide mouth, durable quality, and ability to keep food hot for several hours. Many appreciate the vibrant colors and chemical-free construction. However, a significant number are disappointed with the product's performance in keeping food hot, with some reporting it becomes lukewarm or cold within a few hours. Some also had issues with the lids, finding them difficult to open or close. Overall, the reviews suggest the product is hit-or-miss, with some customers very satisfied and others feeling it does not live up to the high price.

Purchased a HydroFlask food jar,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a HydroFlask food jar, knowing it was more expensive than its competitors in hopes that it would be of superior quality and performance and not just paying for the logo. Pros — nice size for bringing a meal to work Cons — boiling water is tepid within a few hours, and not being able to microwave a metal bowl means I now have a cold soup container — after one washing in the dishwasher, there is a small discoloration in one area of the container. Unclear if this is a result of the bottle being metal and the cap being plastic or if the metal is not properly shaped to retain heat or serve as an insulated container. Expected higher quality for the price, but was disappointed and will not be making another purchase. If this is the standard for this type of product, will save my money and get a no name brand in the future. I feel as if I got tricked by the hype.

It’s perfect for some food preparation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this food jar. I use it to prepare things like Oatmeal and Ramen. I add the food and the hot water and close it up for 15 minutes, staring once in the middle and food’s ready! Thank you Hydroflask for making this larger size!

Good size!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a smaller version of the food jar but realized it would not hold enough food for me when I take a lunch to work. The smaller is fine for a yogurt or jello and I’ll probably use it for those and other things. I truthfully haven’t had an opportunity to use the larger jar so I don’t know if it keeps things as hot as I like. Reviews have mentioned that the jar doesn’t keep food hot enough but I will have to test it out myself. I love my Hydro Flask bottles and knew I would love the jars as well. Great purchase!

Food jar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried several different insulated food containers. Hydroflask is by far the best. Opening is big enough that it makes it easy to thoroughly clean and enjoy eating out of. Simple design without a lot of parts leaving you wonder if you cleaned it good enough! And my kids lunch stays nice and hot till it's time to eat which is HUGE considering the other option is school lunch, yuck! Please don't discontinue this product. It is the best out there and worth the money!
