200 Oasis Legging With Fly

You've learned from experience that the tail end of every season is the best time to get out in the mountains—late fall trail runs consist of empty trails, tacky conditions, and misty mountain views, and spring skiing usually equates to a stable snowpack, creamy spring corn, and tourist-free mountains. The Icebreaker Men's BodyFit 200 Oasis Legging With Fly thrives in these kind of conditions thanks to its lightweight merino wool fabric that's breathable, temperature regulating, and naturally odor-resistant. Icebreaker's 200 weight fabric is best suited for cool to cold conditions (fall, spring, and mild winter temperatures) and is specifically designed to be worn all year.

I wanted merino base layers for an Appalachian Trail section hike and the Icebreaker Oasis did the job. Fit as expected with a fee that is form fitting but not too tight. Comfortable overall with perhaps the slightest bit of scratchiness but nothing that bothered me. The Oasis base layer was warm and the merino properties were beneficial for a long sweaty hike. I used these Oasis pants base layers for sleeping in the tent at night and they kept me warm while not being cumbersome or too hot.

The fit is accurate and the material is great. Great temperature regulation, minimal odor retention. I will definitely buy more!

Great Added Warmth

I use the 3/4 length for skiing and boarding and love them. These have become my go to for added warmth during the winter and shoulder months for daily use and activities in the woods. Super light and breathable but keep me extremely warm when I need it.

Good every day layer

I love this layer for every day use as a lift operator at palisades Tahoe. The fit runs a little small as I wish I got a large but despite that I love it! They remain warm when wet and resist odor very well.

Very high quality, comfortable and warm. I often only use these and my ski pants for cold days on the slopes. I will be taking them to my trekking trip in Nepal.

Merino wool at its best

I have so many Icebreaker articles of clothing because I love their products. I have base layers (top and bottom) and mid layers. All of them have performed very well in the trial period while I am hiking and biking my local trails. The ultimate test is when I take them on my treks to Africa and climb and summit Mount Kilimanjaro in March of 2025. I will update my review after my trip. I am certain that they will perform very well. Icebreaker merino is awesome. They performed flawlessly while climbing and summiting Kilimanjaro.

Great mid weight base layer

I wore this and the matching top to sleep when camping in Florida. Warm enough in 40 degrees, breathable enough in 70 degrees, and thick enough to keep mosquitoes from biting.

Great base layer

The Icebreaker long underwear do a great job of keeping me warm and dry when out and about in the winter. I've used these for numerous winter hikes in the Whites, a bit of snowboarding, and even some cold days out on the ocean. The only problem is a moth in my closet seemed to have taken a liking to them too, so I'm now sure to store them with some cedar blocks in between adventures. The wool is a little heavier and dries a little slower than my old polypro, but it doesn't hold odor like the polypro, and I'm happy to be wearing wool instead of plastic.
