Summit Skillet

Jetboil's backpacking cuisine reaches new levels with the Summit Skillet. It's a lightweight pan sized specifically for backpacking, and even more specifically, Jetboil's backpacking stoves. It stays stable on the stove, and it's non-stick surface only adds more convenience. The skillet weighs less than an ounce, and not only does the handle fold into the pan, the spatula attaches to the handle for better compactness.

Even cooking, easy clean up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went camping and had 3 different stoves with us. This ended up being my go to pan with the MiniMo. Cooked so evenly, cleaned up so easily. Ended up buying the BaseCamp Genesis System because of the ease of cooking with this frying pan.

Summit skillet cookery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great size skillet for my camping kit. Only four stars since I haven't had the chance to use it yet.

Skillet tested and approved

This is one of many recent Jetboil products that I absolutely love. Torture tested right off the bat and it made it home in one piece.

Would Highly Recommend!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Brought my skillet for an overnight backpacking hike to heat my meal and use as a plate. It's light weight and super easy to clean. Friends decided to go bougie on their dinner and brought steak along. They were frustrated with their frying pan so they ended up using mine after I was done. They will definitely end up purchasing a Jetboil Summit Skillet soon.

Great Little Fry Pan!

Used this on a recent backpacking trip. I don't normally fry anything but this time we wanted sausage and ham so we brought it along. It worked well with my stove and was the right size that I wasn't worried about tipping. The included spatula worked well and because it's part of the pan I'm less likely to forget it. Cleanup was a breeze, I'm really liking the coating on this and from what I've read it's fairly safe. The best part was that I didn't mind the weight in my pack knowing we were going to have some hot, fresh food to go with the mac and cheese and the oatmeal in the morning.

Good pan, consumable spatula

I'll start by saying the pan is very good and the slipperyest thing I've ever encountered, however the included spatula is entirely unacceptable and should honestly be recalled. The first time I used it I noticed it rapidly disintegrating and leaving burned plastic all through my food after only a quick scrape of the pan.

Perfect Size Skillet

It is a perfect size skillet for one or two people. Definitely like the non-stick surface. Like everything Jet Boil, its built to last.

Summit skillet

I’m in my mid 60’s now, no longer back pack camp, but between hunting, and fishing back packs, I need a good pan to make my breakfasts and meals. This pan has everything I need built into it, it’s good at everything, including easy cleanup, and best folding/removable handle ive ever had. To break it in, been using it the last 6 weeks at home, bacon & eggs, flapjacks, or french toast every morning, I think its a keeper.
