You love the convenience and efficiency of your old Jetboil system, but you're tired of having to make multiple batches of everything to feed big groups of people. Luckily, Jetboil heard your concerns and created the Sumo Stove in response. Essentially just a bigger version of the proven Jetboil Flash system, it offers increased capacity to accommodate families and big teams.
JetBoil's FluxRing heat exchange system is built directly into the bottom of the insulated cup, maximizing fuel efficiency and promoting even heating by distributing the flame along the bottom of the cup. The cup itself is insulated to keep your beverage or meal from going cold and it's made of anodized aluminum for easy cleaning once you're finished cooking. As you'd expect, the insulated cozy also prevents you from scalding your hands when you're prepping and serving meals. It's also equipped with a drink-through lid that doubles as a spout and strainer, as well as a bottom cover that doubles as a measuring cup and serving bowl. The adjustable burner features a one-button piezo ignition for hassle-free lighting, and regulator technology lets you easily dial in the perfect simmer level. Best of all, the entire kit, including your fuel canister, all stack neatly together for total convenience.

Great
I love this thing due to the extra size to be able to heat enough water for a meal and a cup of coffee all at once! It also fits the large fuel canisters inside for packing with! Love it!

Great product!
The Jetboil Sumo has become one of my favorite pieces of gear for both camping and emergency preparedness. I’ve used it for everything from brewing camp coffee to cooking full meals, and it’s never let me down. The boil time is incredibly fast, which makes mornings at camp a lot easier—coffee is ready in minutes. The larger capacity of the Sumo compared to other Jetboil models is perfect for cooking for two or more people, yet it’s still compact and lightweight enough to pack easily. The fuel efficiency is excellent, and the built-in igniter and stable base make it super convenient to use anywhere—from the backcountry to the beach. I even keep mine in our emergency prep box, because I know it’ll work when I need it most. Whether you’re backpacking, camping, or just want a reliable stove for emergencies, the Jetboil Sumo is a solid, dependable choice that I can’t recommend enough.

Use it more than I would have thought
I use this thing all the time, it stays in my truck box with a coffee percolator and is utilized multiple times a week at job sites. Perfect for deer/duck blind and for every day field use. It boils water extremely fast and evenly heats a pan when cooking an actual meal. Perfect for any experience with a camp stove.

Backpack camping must have!
The SUMO was the perfect size for 3x people while out backpack camping. The ease of operation and ability to store the fuel inside the sumo made it very compact. In addition I was happily surprised how quickly the heating element cooled off after use which meant we didnt have to wait to wash or pack it. This thing now comes with me on military training exercises, ice fishing trips, hunting trips, and any other situation that i might want a quick hot meal. 10/10

I had the Jetboil Flash to boil water but was too small to cook meals in so i bought the Sumo. So far the Sumo is great for cooking bigger means in the bigger pot. Plus it has simmer control so food doesnt get burn!

Great product, needs a better lid.
Great product all around, very functional, however, the lid does not stay on, and the metal is easily dented.

Great product - we primarily use it to get the kids used to prepping and eating dehydrated meals after short training hikes (5 miles) . Others seems to worry about taking ‘too many’ partially filled canisters - but honestly unless you’re going out for more that a few days, the extra few Ozs aren’t a big deal It boils SO much SO fast. Enjoy !
