Stratos Splitboard delivers surfy freeride feel and agile touring power

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I use the Stratos Split for everything from deep pow tours to spring missions. It feels super nimble thanks to the short sidecut, but still floats incredibly well with the rocker nose and tapered shape. It’s lightweight on the skintrack, and when it’s time to drop in, it rides like a solid."

We tour deep into the backcountry for the chance to ride something special—and that’s exactly what the Jones Stratos Splitboard delivers. With a shape that blurs the line between surf-inspired freeride and all-mountain freestyle, this board lets us slash, carve, and send with control in any snowpack. Whether navigating tight trees, stacking pow laps, or boosting off natural features, the Stratos feels quick, responsive, and ready to charge.

Jones builds the Stratos Split with directional rocker for powerful edge hold and float, paired with a shorter sidecut for quick, surfy turns in technical terrain. A mid-stiff flex gives us energy and snap when popping off rollers or dropping cliffs, while the 3D Contour Base and subtle taper help keep the nose up and tail nimble. Under the hood, the Ultra Split Core is reinforced with Biax fiberglass and a Carbon Flax stringer for lively, durable performance. Finished with a Sintered 8000 base for serious speed and Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0 for superior board connection, this split is our go-to for all-conditions exploration and backcountry flow.
