Here's what customers have to say
The reviews for these waterproof hiking shoes are mixed. Many customers find them comfortable, durable, and suitable for hiking and everyday wear, praising the waterproofing, traction, and roomy toe box. However, some are disappointed with the quality and comfort compared to previous models, noting the shoes feel heavier and less flexible. Several customers also had issues with the laces and insoles. Overall, the shoes seem to be a good option for outdoor activities, but some feel the quality has declined compared to earlier versions.

So far so good
So far I love these shoes. I wear them for work as a service plumber. The full rubber toe was a primary selling feature. I also have a wide foot and these shoes accommodate nicely. The tread is nice and is holding up better than everything else I have tried. I would recommend these shoes and hope to buy another pair in the distant future if they hold up.

Great shoe in all respects
This is my second pair of Targhee IV shoes. Classic Keen- comfortable out of the box, good support, ample toe box. Keen finally got the outer sole right - no more delamination and they also seem to wear longer.

Snug fit.
Like the four lace crossings on the foot—-stay away from three.

So far, really good!
Have been wearing Targhee xx's for quite a few years. Obviously, they have worked great for me, and now my wife has a pair. I wear them year-around, on snow, ice, wet leaves, steep hillsides. . . . They are functionally waterproof - I wear low-profile "walking shoes" - not for serious stream crossing, but fine for tall wet crass". Only problem has been delamination and eventually leaking. Will see how the model for IV performs - just bought 3 pairs.

Great Hiking Shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first pair of hiking shoes. They fit as great as my Keen hiking boots and are true to size. So glad I got these. Will definitely stay with Keen for my hiking boots and now my hiking shoes.

As marketed
Very little break in time, comfortable and stable on variety of surfaces. Will buy again. I have only owned shoes for a month so I hope they will continue to perform as marketed. Thanks
