Why We Like The KEEN Zionic Mid WP Boot
New for 2023, the KEEN Zionic Mid WP Boot weighs less than the typical KEEN hiker to provide lightweight performance on our favorite trails. The ripstop mesh uppers provide lightweight abrasion resistance while a stability shank delivers lightweight support for more technical hikes. The Zionic also gives us KEEN's legendary comfort with PU midsoles and insoles with arch support, an Achilles pad, and a contoured fit that doesn't scrunch our toes. This light but technical hiker is ready to take on any hiking trail that we throw at it.

Here's what customers have to say
The majority of reviews for this product are very positive, with customers describing the boots as comfortable, supportive, and providing excellent traction. However, some customers experienced issues with the fit, noting that the boots run small and they had to order a larger size. A few also reported problems with the durability, such as the soles separating or the tread wearing down quickly. Overall, the consensus seems to be that these are high-quality, well-liked hiking boots, as long as the right size is ordered.

Most comfortable shoes i have ever worn.
The bottom part of the shoe seems like it could fall apart easily but we will see other than that most comfortable shoes I've ever worn no complaints yet

very close to greatness
I've put some miles on these boots. PCT for a few days mostly loose granite and solid granite. They are great in those conditions. Where they did not shine was on trail the had thorns and stickers bushes. The soft rubber absorbed the thorns. At one point I pulled out 24 thorns from my left sole and 19 from my right sole. Had no clue I was walking on thorns until I hit rocky road and I could hear them. Thankfully none poked thru to touch my feet. Sticker bushes which I knew I was walking thru made scratches albeit superficial but they are still there after cleaning up the boots. Also wish toe box was bigger. These was be one of the best thru trail boots/shoes if there were small adjustments. Toe box width and gum compound on sole of boot needs to be a little less flexible and resilient to sharp objects.

Missing the Keen Toe Box
I took my new pair on my first two trail hikes and they were great overall. Lightweight, great grip, held off the mud and water and great ankle and roll over support. My only complaint was the tighter toe box size. I have always loved the traditional shaped toe box on all other Keen products but this one ends up being too narrow for me even though I went up a 1/2 size. I am hoping they stretch out.

Great pair of hikers
This is a real nice pair of light weight hikers. Nice tread pattern sheds well and the gum rubber provides excellent grip. The one miss with these is the lace hook positions—they are too far forward for true functionality.

Started out being a great
Started out being a great boot but after consistent days hiking on back to back the boot absolutely destroyed my feet! Unfortunate I’ve always loved keen footwear!

Amazing footwear")!
I love that these feel like sneakers on my feet but wear like a hiking shoe. I'm a teacher I buy them to wear through the winter months in the snow and ice. . . . they are fashionable enough and perfection function for this time of year. Then in the spring I wear them for the small lawn care business I have. They are perfect to keep my feet dry in wet grass and great durability through the season") Not sure how you would fix this . . . . . but they seem slippery when wet on tile or very hard flat surfaces.

I am thrilled!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these "boots". I use quotation marks because they wear more like an aggressive shoe. I work in a garden center and need a lighter weight boot, waterproof and able to move and flex with the different work I do. I am a woman, and bought the darker color because I need one that will hide the dirt and evidence of where I work ((those light colors just don't work for me). I wear a 9. 5 in women's and bought an 8 in mens. . . perfect!

They are great!
This is my second pair of zionics, and not because they wore out. The new ones were broke in by the third day of use. They are comfortable and supportive in the ankles, heals and arches. Push off is fantastic when hiking due to the aggressive sole. They are a little spendy but I think worth the investment in my feet.
