Here's what customers have to say
The sleeping pad is generally well-received, with many customers praising its comfort, warmth, and insulation, especially in colder weather. It is described as comfortable and supportive, providing good insulation. However, some customers have experienced issues with the claimed insulation value not matching real-world performance, and a few have had problems with air leaks and durability. Overall, the consensus is that this is a high-quality and comfortable sleeping pad, though its performance in extreme cold may vary.

Klymit pad
The most comfortable and warm pad I've ever used. And, the most durable inflatable I've used in 50 years of camp/hunt!

Excellent for a side sleeping backpacker!
SO comfortable for a side sleeper and the structure of it keeps you from sliding off during the night. Its surprising how much it actually inflates! I really figured it would lose air overnight or stretch but it didn't. It stayed incredibly comfortable. I have always woken up with hip pain as a side sleeper but I had NONE. The only downside is the stuff sack requires you to fold it perfectly and get every bit of air out, I'm sure it'll be easier with practice though.

Perfect for tall guys
As a 6’4” man it is hard to find a sleeping pad that I actually fit on. This pad is long, thick, and comfortable. The only downside is the space it’ll take up in your pack but that is pretty much unavoidable. This pad is 100% worth the money and I have never slept so comfortably while camping. It is totally worth carrying the extra weight and sacrificing a little more space for the luxury that this pad provides.

Great when the WORK!
If you’re looking for a cheap lightweight decent R value pad you’ve found it. I’ve had mine for about 4 years. Used a few times as I switched to a thicker more expensive durable pad. Recent winter trip up to just over 11k ft few weeks I decided to take this pad with me. One thing I’ve learned from owning 2 other Klymit pads is to inflate the pad overnight before you leave. Every time I’ve had an issue with these pads it’s the valve. So inflate a few days before trip. Stays inflated. Great. Head up into the beautiful snowy mountains. Set up camp. Inflate pad etc. settle in for a long winters slumber. Several hours later I’m awakened by cold! I’m thinking why am I cold? Zero degree bag with liner. Check. I then realize I’m on the ground. The pad had deflated. (I’m an athletic 210 pounds) I’m like 😡! Get up inflate the pad. Deflated again. FROM THE VALVE! Slow leak. Again of the 3 Klymit pads (I’m a gear hound) every one of them has had valve issues. I’ve returned 2 as they do stick by their warranty. But who has the time to pack up the pad drive to mail it and then wait several weeks for them to send another? When they’re not deflating these pads work well in cold. Temps on my trip at night dropped down to the low single digits, sleeping on the snow. I was warm until I wasn’t when the pad deflated. Ruined a 3 day trip.

Deceptive Marketing on R-value
I slept on this pad for about 2 weeks straight, including in sub-zero temps. I used a -18 bag. The pad is very comfortable. However, the R-value is very far off from what Klymit claims. I had to stack with a z-lite to stay warm on cold nights. If it was really the R-value they claim there is no way I would need to do that. This pad is only good for 3 season max and car camping.

Best pad ever
This pad packs up light but inflates to a nice thick pad. Also boasts a high "R" value. I combine this with a foam fold up pad as well in colder temps and it adds great insulation to my sleep system. I like to deflate it as much as possible before I'm touching the ground and it makes for a comfy sleep. I bought 2 and use them often. No leaks or any air loss through the night and I can be hard on things at times.

This deflated the first night
This deflated the first night I used it. I have to re-inflate every couple of hours through the night.
