Four-season warmth meets packable comfort in the Wild Aspen Sleeping Bag
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I brought the Wild Aspen 0 on a chilly shoulder-season trip in Utah and was honestly surprised how warm I stayed when temps dipped below freezing. It’s roomier than typical mummy bags, which I love because I toss and turn a bit. The synthetic fill dries quickly if any moisture sneaks in, and the adjustable hood really seals in heat."
We know how crucial warmth is when the mercury drops, and that’s where the Wild Aspen 0-Degree Sleeping Bag shines. Klymit built this bag with four-season performance in mind, equipping it with advanced synthetic insulation that keeps us warm without unnecessary bulk. After long hikes or windy ridge nights, nothing feels better than crawling into its cozy, mummy-style shape and letting the cold fade away.
Its rugged micro-polyester shell resists abrasion and water, so we don’t stress over damp tents or rough ground. The hood cinches down snugly when temps plummet, and the draft tube along the zipper keeps chilly air from sneaking in. And thanks to the roomy foot box and wider cut, we don’t feel like we’re wrestling with a straightjacket all night. Whether it's basecamp at 10,000 feet or just a cold weekend in the Wasatch, this bag has our backs.

Here's what customers have to say
This sleeping bag is well-suited for casual outdoor activities like car camping, beginner backpacking, canoeing, and fishing. Many users found it to be warm, comfortable, and a good value. However, some noted it runs small and is bulky, making it better for car camping than backpacking. Overall, it appears to be a decent option for moderate outdoor use, but may not be the best choice for more extreme conditions or serious backcountry trips.

Toasty
I've taken it backpacking and hunting in the snow and sub freezing temps, very warm!

Great Sleeping Bag
This is a great sleeping bag and it worked well for my son in Wyoming on a mule deer hunt. He is 13 and 5'7/100lbs. It worked well for him but it was too small for me. I'm 6'01/185lbs.

The bag was very warm and easy to pack. But it was small. I'm 5.9 and I could not fully fit inside the bag. well made though.

Warm & Functional
Warm and functional, great colors, and easy to pack and unpack while traveling—would recommend to anyone tent camping in normal fall temperatures.

Feels Cheap/Way Undersized
Zipper sticks, feels like it will break. Even for a 12 year old, these are undersized.

Warm and plush!
Used this sleeping bag on the coast of WA in August and a couple times in central WA in October and I couldn't be happier. It is plush and very comfy and I stayed plenty warm. The regular sized bag was roomy, I am 5'3" & 135 lbs. Great for colder fall nights, forgot my sleeping pad one trip and I still slept comfortably in my tent!

Good value for the money
This is a very well-made sleeping bag for the price. I've used it in the low 30's and it kept me comfortable all night. The extra room is nice to have as mummy bags have gotten harder for me to use over time. Unless you are going on very technical types of treks, this bag will serve you just fine. Also, it packs very small relative to its size so be sure to take it out of its compression bag for storage. I use a mesh laundry bag to keep mine.

Comfy, roomy, warm. Just what I need for volunteer work that takes me into the field and in wide ranging temperatures. With a new twist, I took it to Tanzania and it kept me warm overnights summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Warm and very comforable.
I did have a few issues where the lower zipper would come off but it was an easy fix each time. The bag is warm and very comfortable, it did it's actual job very well. It packed away very easily and I felt good being able to compress it down in it's base compression sack. It is a fabric lined interior so take that into consideration if you are a sensation person. My wife didn't enjoy the way it felt when she layed in it.
