Great jacket
I've got a thing for jackets and this is one of my favorites. It is perfect for the transition times before and after winter, lightweight, warm, wind and rain resistant. A major point for improvement would be an inside breast pocket big enough for a phone.

Good but not warm enough
The jacket was adequate, but I did not feel it would warm enough in the dead of winter. There was also a lack of pockets.

Excellent packable coat .
Worked great for our March trip to Copenhagen and central Europe (Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary) where temperatures ranged from the mid to upper 30s to the mid-50s. It's great without layering for mid-40s and up, assuming no strong winds. For lower temps and windy conditions though, I simply layered and the jacket is excellent in that regard too. It has a drawstring at the waist to keep warmth in, a hood and zippered protection for much of the neck if desired. And when not needed it all, it's very light and can be easily compacted and stuffed into a backpack, suitcase pocket, etc. Very pleased with this LL Bean purchase.

Good all around.
Excellent in a wide range of temperatures. Easy zipper. Not crazy about the way the collar lays, but not a big proble.

Birthday Gift Coat
Very nice coat. Good fit, love the material. Good for layers. Wish the pockets had zippers and a pocket on the chest for sunglasses would have been great.

Nice light jacket but......
This seems like a nice spring/ fall jacket but I am really disappointed with it not having a chest pocket for my phone, description is misleading, to me a security pocket means a chest pocket. It kind of baffles me as to why anyone would even make a jacket without a chest pocket since literally everyone carries a phone now.
