Peak Series Activated Carbon+Ion Exchange Filter Attachment improves taste and filters heavy metals
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I always pack the Peak Series Carbon Filter when I’m using my LifeStraw squeeze bottle—it noticeably improves taste and takes out stuff like chlorine and metals. It’s lightweight, lasts a while, and makes backcountry water more palatable."
We count on the LifeStraw Peak Series Activated Carbon+Ion Filter Attachment to make backcountry hydration cleaner and better tasting. Whether we're pulling water from alpine streams or refilling on the trail, this filter add-on takes the edge off harsh-tasting water and gives us added peace of mind by reducing heavy metals and chlorine.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with the LifeStraw Peak Series systems, it connects to squeeze bottles, gravity filters, and solo filters with ease. Activated carbon paired with ion exchange filtration improves flavor and removes contaminants like lead, cadmium, and mercury—making each sip safer and smoother. It’s compact, reliable, and a must-have upgrade for any outdoor water setup.

Amazing
I took a Lifestraw with me while I went backcountry camping in West Virginia. Honestly, this product is way under priced for what it is. It can literally save your life. I drank from multiple streams after I ran out of water and made it out of the woods safe.

Fresh Water!!!!
We use our Lifestraw to filter our spring water. It was a life saver when we went through Helene in the NC mountains where we live. I recommend the 8 Liter which is the one we use.

This classic device replaces one
This classic device replaces one I've had for a while and broke. The reason it received only four stars is I've not used it. I am confident it will function.
