Mad Monkey and Mad Monkey 2 were better

My kids used the original Mad Monkey and Mad Monkey 2 for years and had no complaints. The Mad Monkey 3 is not as good. My son says he can't smear in them and I can see why. The weird colored rubber is not as sticky as normal black rubber.

Surprisingly aggressive

I returned these before use. For my 4yo son just starting climbing, they seemed much too aggressive. Seemed comparable to a Solution and different than most kid shoes. I thought previous mad monkeys were more relaxed but maybe I missed something. Opted for some sportivas instead. Maybe there are some tiny crushers out there...
