Designed by Mammut with a sustainability-first approach, this lightweight layer is filled with Thermore® Ecodown—insulation made from post-consumer PET bottles. That means it keeps us warm while keeping waste out of landfills. Whether we’re layering it over a baselayer on crisp hikes or using it to boost our midlayer system under a shell, the Albula provides adaptable warmth in a sleek, eco-conscious design.

The outer material is made entirely from recycled polyester and finished with a PFC-free DWR treatment, giving us weather resistance for shoulder-season hikes or camp mornings. A tall, snug collar seals out drafts while zippered hand pockets keep our fingers warm or hold onto the small essentials. With a trim fit and low-profile elastic hem, this vest layers smoothly under jackets or stands alone as a simple solution for active insulation.
